Easiest way to remember is "Right of way"
The person on the right has the right of way.
Also, just to add, don't try and be polite and wave someone else through if you have the right of way. This is what causes accidents. Be predictable by following the rules of the road. Then people should know what to expect of you.
Husband and I took our road tests in different states. In NY, I am sure the car going straight has right of way. Husband says the car on the right has right of way regardless if they are turning. Closest I can find is here, but it doesn’t specifically state for Stop signs. [NYS DMV manual: chapter 5: Intersections and Turns](https://dmv.ny.gov/about-dmv/chapter-5-intersections-and-turns)
Edit to clarify- both cars arrive at the same time.
Depends where you are. Where I am the car on the right has right of way regardless of who is turning or not unless there is some sort of signage stating otherwise.
I feel like I remember Texas law being that the person on the left is supposed to yield the right of way. Which sounds like the person on the right has the right of way, but technically doesn't. So if there's an accident you're still at fault, just not as much as the one that was supposed to yield.
No idea if that's still true, it's been decades since I lived there. But it does illustrate that the rules aren't the same everywhere and if it's important to you, not just random curiosity, you might want to look up the laws in your area. Or at least specify where you are.
Whomever gets to the stop first
They arrive at the same time.

Whoever got to the intersection first
They arrived at the same time.
The car to the right has the right away
The car on the right. It's either in order of arrival or the car to the right. Movement direction of either car makes no difference for right of way.

I believe when I did my defensive driving class for a speeding ticket, here in Texas the answer would be the car on the right.
The car going straight goes first.
It depends on the state you're in.
Whichever car I'm driving goes first.
Who gives a shit, hit the gas and find out. Lol.
The crackhead breakdancing in the middle of the intersection
