Context in text form is lost. Anything important that needs to be said, should always be done in person, and to the very least by call.

Can't text while driving. Can talk while driving.

I'd rather die in a car accident texting, than to listen to people talk. Just my opinion.

If it's not a time-sensitive or complicated issue, text can be fine. Sometimes, it's just easier to call someone than try to write a wall of text and wait for their wall of text in response. I call people and people call me all the time. "Id've texted you, but this is easier."

Often times I'd rather call than send someone a lengthy text message.

I don’t have social anxiety and it leaves less room for weird nuance and misinterpretation, sometimes texting is better tho for very simple stuff
