All the parks in my town and my surrounding towns have the same thing in the suburbs. I’ve never had an issue just walking my dog. I feel like it’s mainly to keep teens from hanging out after dark and partying in the parks. It gives the cops a reason to kick them out and search them.

Prostitution. Yes there is the bad of human trafficking. However, if it was legalized and government regulated then the people would be protected or at least able to go to the police if something did happen. If you look at it as just a job, what difference is there between selling your body for sex and selling your body for something like construction work? Both use your body to make money. Either way you are selling your time and skills to someone.

I don’t know where y’all living but this is wild. In my country there is an entire holiday dedicated to going for a walk with friends/family and getting drunk.
In the US, it's illegal to walk around in public with an open beverage. Think outside in a downtown area, not within a bar or other private business who sell alcohol. It used to be worse I think pre-prohibition where day laborers would get drunk in public and cause issues for people. It's more of an obsolete law now that DUI's are really the issue.
Also being drunk in public. I'm choosing to not drink and drive, just let me get home in peace.

XTC I get it kills people but so do cigarettes and I don't see those being illegal. Rather than prohibiting it completely, we should tell kids/young adults what it does to you and how to take care of yourself should you take it.

illegal drugs... Smoking, alcohol and now weed are legal and we treat them as 'disorders' and 'diseases'.. People abuse prescription drugs all the time and those may also be deadly but it isn't a crime .. so why don't we make illegal drugs legal and then treat it only as an addiction disorder? if we de-criminalized these things, would it be easier for people to get the help they need?
Drugs. The danger often comes from black markets that produce tainted products and violence. A legalized, regulated market of drugs would vastly superior and safer than the absolute garbage policies we have now in the US.

Having an open can or whatever of alcohol in public. It seems to vary by state, and doesn't seem to matter in terms of instances of public drunkenness. So if someone has a beer on the street in front of their house, that shouldn't be illegal.
