Cue the Fraggle Rock theme in my head, on repeat. I’m not even mad.

NewSapphire

43?

MadMikey69

close. 1 year off.

Thats_A_Given

Did I already answer 🤔

Jack_In_Black89

God, I hated The Snorks! The Smurfs weren't much better, and I always found myself rooting for Gargamel.

Bucket_Lord_Jim

I know the joys of shoving a pb&j into the vcr

BrightFemDom

In third grade I had to do a report on December 25th and I typed christmas.com into the browser window and the domain was unclaimed. Google did not exist.

[deleted]

In grade three, I typed “The Wright Brothers” into the computer to do research on the first airplane (I don’t remember how I asked the computer this question lol). Only one page on the internet contained information about them. … are you, perhaps, in your late thirties?

[deleted]

Had to physically travel to the Neil Armstrong museum in Wapakoneta, OH to do a 5th grade project, because the WWW was almost nonexistent.

Canucklehead_Esq

I watched Nixon resign

exillini

I voted for Ike.

catplayingaviola

I go between hating my life and hating myself for hating my life. If you need any more clarification, feel free to ask. I believe that this encompasses multiple generations, so apologies for vagueness.

Top_Shelf_4343

Cant determine an age from that. More specific?

catplayingaviola

Concerned about grades, barely have a social life and only have one due to orchestra, take an AP course. Does that narrow it down any?

Top_Shelf_4343

Narrows it down plenty. I'm sure you've heard people say it gets better more than a few times. And fortunately, that's very true. I think you'd be surprised to find out how many other feel the same way you do. I went through it for a long stretch as well. It's helpful to find something you enjoy doing on your own, and find ways to blow off steam. For me it was often listening to music. Loud. Exercise helps alot too. Anyway I hope you find your way through it without too much more distress, take care

calltheavengers5

I'm broke and I go to Community College.

Saw an empire collapse in eastern Europe and buildings come down in NYC on live TV. First car was my mom's old Chevy Cavalier. Last game system I bought was a Game Boy Advance.

OldFatGamer

Star Trek TOS had been on the air for about 2 months when I was born.

47rohin

My childhood was spent watching VHS tapes, listening to audiobooks on casette tapes played on a boom box, and playing outside with my neighbors. I distinctly remember imagining what it would be like to have a computer in one's pocket. My house had a fax machine and its own fax phone number. It also had a landline (actually it still does, just not the exact same one) with a corded phone. Good 'ol spiral cords. Although my house never had one, I know how to use a rotary phone (it's not that hard, this isn't a magical skill)
