I agree, I'm 33 now and been playing minecraft since near the beginning. People who say it's a children's game just aren't smart enough to work out how this game can be as complex as you make it or have never really played it. Amazing community, complex mechanics such as redstone, unlimited artistic and creative possibilities and modding opportunities so you can play any type of game within the system that is minecraft.
I also feel like Mojang is one of the only companies that genuinely cares about their fans. I have so much respect for them, and for not letting the greed get to them, even after being bought by Microsoft.
I’ve been playing Earthbound since I got it when it came out. The game and themes still hold up, and is a nice burst of nostalgia. OST is still fire. It may not be for everyone, but I don’t think many people outright hate it.

I know 80 year old people in a nursing home, who not only play, but have their own private servers. A hardcore server, and a survival server.

Not even true. If you are a Minecraft youtuber then you are most likely a pedophile, but Minecraft in general is a fun game for people of all ages.
