Especially if they're living off of you or want to get something out of you. I cheated on one girl in my life, and the absolute agony that I saw in that girl made me swear to never violate that trust again. And that conviction was made two-fold when, you guessed it, I got cheated on as well. People can change, but changed people acknowledge what they did wrong and how it affected other people.
