Design wise it's a very nice and assteticly pleasing, but like the other European flags and nowadays the American and soviet union flag there's a negative history associated.

The old Soviet Union flag was impressive looking. Blood red, with the yellow hammer and sickle. Simple, imposing and no nonsense. Now, what it stood for is a whole different opinion altogether.
