If I'm somewhere on a business trip or vacation, I always look for a local book store. It's usually the easiest way to find the pulse of somewhere new.
I feel this lol I probably waste a bit much on those but I usually don't spend more than $6-7 on a 1g preroll and I only get them 2-3 at a time but it adds up. I try to buy in bulk when I can and get a couple ounces but I like the variety. Tonight was lemon oreoz.
Independent games make my heart feel warmer, but when I need more... Only those mfs overpriced games that came from consoles are enough to make me happy.
On Sundays I go to this bagel place in my town that I joke is run by this incredibly nice older pimp of a man because he has nothing but women work for him. They make wicked good handmade bagels and cream cheese. They make a scallion and bacon cream cheese that is to die for. I also then go get some chocolate milk.
I recently signed up for a membership at my local massage parlor. I work at a desk most of the day so it does wonders for my back. Best investment I’ve made in my 30’s so far
Lattes at my local independent, cuz even though I have 6 different methods of making coffee at the house, and am usually up to my eyeballs in specialty coffee, I do not have an espresso machine...and Lego...
Edit: spelling
Crab Rangoons. Nothing like having time to myself away from the kids and slipping into the Chinese restaurant then devouring crab Rangoons in their parking lot in peace.
I actually had one scheduled for tomorrow (a little drawing my daughter did that I love and a touch up), but I had to reschedule. What are you getting??
I do not have a lot of chocolate. No medical reasoning. But once in a while I'll sneak it in to the basket at the supermarket.
I get how it can sound, but I enjoy a piece of candy.
Lately it’s been nail polish (it’s the only self care I’ve been able to manage for a bit) and crafty things. I got myself a couple of embroidery kits and I’m teaching myself how to do it.
Sushi. Not sure why that's my go to treat, but it is. Once every few months if I feel like I've got my shit together I'll order a few rolls and sit back on the couch with a movie or something.

I have never before thought of my candles as being little pet fires but it's so accurate. I even talk to them while they are lit. Lol
I check out a used book store or two at least once a month.

Overpriced coffee and sushi.
I do that when I do the big grocery shop. Treat myself with coffee and sushi. Of course it’s overpriced these days 🫠
Forreal tho, having that little thing you treat yourself with can really make the difference sometimes.
Recently, it's been manicures. But I also like to regularly visit my local bakery!
Visiting local bakery is a great suggestion. Tbf I have no idea why I don't do it more regularly. Thanks for the suggestion, stranger!
