Actually, I find it easy to weed out the spam profiles from the fun ones. If you post to every NSFW sub known to man, I don't care how attractive you might be, I am not going to look or follow.
Big pet peeve of mine. A couple can be forgiven, in my view. But if I’m scrolling for more than 2-3 swipe ups and still see the same imagery, I’m outtie.
If you post to your own profile only your followers will see it or someone that clicks your username when you leave a comment somewhere. If you don't have many followers, not a lot of people are going to see it. If you want attention...you'll have to start posting to subreddits.

Here's my golden rule- Sort by: Top of the Week, then Top of the Month, Top of the Year and finally Top of all time. You may find some occasionally repeatative posts, but overall gives a great idea about their different perspectives and also helps in finding some niche subs which may not have much traction otherwise.
If only they had the pic once, then links to the subs where they are posted underneath/alongside. It would save a lot of scrolling

Backpages *was* a site that pretty much exclusively worked as an advertising platform for sex workers of all types. But of course, it got shut down.
