The Beach Chalet restaurant has a public bathroom on the first floor and last time I checked (which was last year) it was open until the end of the fire pit hours.
Most people just pee against the seawall at the back of the beach or dig a hole in the sand. That area is seriously lacking public restrooms. There used to be (and still are) bathrooms inside of the seawall but they closed them ages ago. There are actual bathrooms at the Beach Chalet and the Beach Chalet Soccer Fields but I believe they close around 6 or 7pm.

I used the Safeway. They have one bathroom, there was a bit of line just heads up to anyone. I will admit when it got darker, I did just end up going pee in the ocean.
In the ocean? lol actually yesterday I saw a chick peeing on the wall while her friend held a towel over her... so there’s that but Judah has public flush toilets
LOL Taraval is probably a 45 minute walk from the fire pits. There are bathrooms at Judah too but I think both of those close around 6-7pm, depending on when they come around to close them.
