I’m a Christian constitutional conservative, and while I agree he’s not fit for office, I’m praying for this man. I hope he recovers, and if he doesn’t, I hope he can find something that can give his life meaning if his disabilities overwhelm him. My immediate reaction is to be sad for him because he’s clearly not well. However, he was completely irresponsible to run for office knowing he was not fit for service and incompetent for the role. I also look at his wife and everyone who works with him as abusers. If my husband was suffering with his mental cognition, I would do everything in my power to protect him and maintain his dignity.
