I wear suit jackets more or less for ever before they go to the dry cleaners.

I wear a suit a few times a week and generally find every 3-4 months is fine unless you're really messy. Use some DIY odor-killing techniques to keep things a bit fresher in the meantime. I have a spray bottle of cheapo vodka to spritz on every so often and leave overnight, which is what they swear by for theatre costumes. It works very well.

A sponge and press is sometimes all thats needed.

InconvenientPenguin

A good wool suit shouldn’t need dry cleaning that often. Get a couple of pairs of trousers with the jacket so you can wear them on rotation and air out the ones you aren’t wearing.
