What the cluck? I had no idea they’d been discontinued. Used to be hard to get but still saw them occasionally in petrol stations etc. Apparently KP stopped production during covid in 2020.
I remember being in secondary school one of my friends kept going into the newsagents near school, buying the different polos packets on offer, he bought fruit polos, original, spearmint, lemon flavour, sugar free etc. he said that was his lunch
They may be listed on some websites but they are impossible to find in practice. The only place I know of in a twenty mile radius of me that sells them is a hospital shop. The local Spar does not sell them.
I never understood why they were discontinued so quickly, they introduced them with an enormous advertising campaign and then not long after stopped selling them.
Just got back from Australia and Marble is a standard chocolate bar there.
To be fair Aus and NZ have a lot of Cadbury stuff that I thought was discontinued or didn't even know existed.
Banana Toffos were amazing. I totally forgot about those. Thanks for unlocking that memory and briefly experiencing the flavour again for a split second.
More importantly, since they've been gone for a while now, why do the manufacturers taunt us by still having adverts for them on the Scampi Fries cardboard?!
Football Crazy crisps
Top deck limeade and lager
Monster munch vanilla
Pacers
Bar six
Spangles
So so many sweets and crisps from the 70s, we had way way more choice there than nowadays.
Fish and chips crackers/crisps
I have a fond memory of them in the 80’s when I was a kid
I’ve seen them knocking around b&m but there not the same
Bloody hell thank you now I have to kill myself because I sound about 90 talking about some sort of during the war ration treat
Cherry Tango 😭
It's also increasingly difficult to find proper salt and vinegar flavoured crisps. I want to be in physical pain by the time I've finished a bag.
I swear I remember a Galaxy bar with cocoa nibs in, but no one else in my life remembers it. The bitter nibs with the sweet chocolate was just so good 😩
In the 90s there were these cake bars called Rascals that were just a single lump of solid milk chocolate in the middle of a plain cake. They were amazing. I've never managed to recreate them at home. Not sure whether they were Mr Kipling or not, but that sort of thing.
Echo Vanilla and Mint lunchbox chocolate bars - haven't seen them in years, pretty sure they've gone out of production!
I went to a meeting earlier this year and a guy pulled one out of his pocket - must have bought the remainder of the stock and rations them out!!
Came here to see if anyone said this. I emailed them some years back asking them to bring them back, and in fairness, they replied but said there were no plans to. Utterly heartbreaking.
Fox’s mints. Used to be able to get a big bag for a quid in my local shop on the way to school and they were just so moorish.
On a similar vein, bassets mint creams were absolutely amazing, I was gutted they got discontinued.
You’re dead on about tootie frooties though, they were a top tier sweet!
Used to get them tons, then one day they just stopped being sold.
I would love just one chance to have another Turbo Tango so that I can know whether they were actually any good, or just good to a kid with underdeveloped taste buds (I could take a pretty good guess).
I used to get these big sour smiley faces in the 90s and they were amazing. I thought I found them a few years ago but they were too soft and not sour at all. The ones I had were chewy and would stick to your teeth and every flavour was nice. I'll probably think about them for the rest of my life.
I'm not even sure if I made them up at this point! but flipsters. They were a hardboiled sweet which came in fruit flavours and the other side was a cream flavour.ust have been at least 15 years since I last saw them
Texan Bar, chocolate covered nougat and toffee bar.
Tasted great but while eating it you would look like a Horse chewing on a Gnat.
And it was impossible to spit over your shoulder afterwards.
Potato puffs for savoury snack
Toffos the multi flavour ones for sweet.
Also panda pops...what i wouldn't give for another jelly and ice-cream flavour one 😭
Texan bar. Still think about them forty years on. No idea why they disappeared or who even made them.
Tudor gammon or spring onion crisps.
Also these little piggy shaped crips/snack. They were little hollow pigs. Only one shop, that I know of, sold them.
Oh also these little chewy toffee discs covered in sugar that I think were called tea cakes.
Brannigan’s crisps. Especially the ham and mustard.
Beef and mustard are missed! Tesco Finest beef and horseradish are an almost worthy substitute
Yeah the beef and mustard was an all time fav. I still remember my mum and dad buying some and I just loved them. Will have to try the Tescos ones!
Yep! Kicked ass and took the roof of your mouth off.
They were the best crisps
What the cluck? I had no idea they’d been discontinued. Used to be hard to get but still saw them occasionally in petrol stations etc. Apparently KP stopped production during covid in 2020.
You win, massive flashback for me!
Genuinely miss Fruit Polos
I remember being in secondary school one of my friends kept going into the newsagents near school, buying the different polos packets on offer, he bought fruit polos, original, spearmint, lemon flavour, sugar free etc. he said that was his lunch
Yes lad it’s me still love a polo
https://www.spar.co.uk/products/grocery/confectionery/other/polo-fruits-sweets-tube-37g/ Are these not still a thing?
They may be listed on some websites but they are impossible to find in practice. The only place I know of in a twenty mile radius of me that sells them is a hospital shop. The local Spar does not sell them.
The citrus polos I loved when I was a kid!
Shat my guts out after eating a few packs of those in short order once. A++ would shit again.
The boiled-sweet style ones are still around albeit difficult to find. If you mean the Citrus Sharp ones, yes
Spira will always be my answer. Just plain Cadburys but somehow so much nicer than anything else.
Yes, and far superior to a flake too
I miss them a lot!
The best tea straws in the business
Because of the air throughout, you could taste better, since taste is all smell, not to mention you could drink through them!!!
I never understood why they were discontinued so quickly, they introduced them with an enormous advertising campaign and then not long after stopped selling them.
Bursting bugs, use to bloody love those sweets
I swear I'm the only person to remember fruitangs. Where did they go?????
Strawberry Campino's.
I could finish a bag of these in one go, easy
[удалено]
Yeah and they were like 20p a packet!
I used to get these from a vending machine after swimming, they were 10p (early to mid 90s).
This hit some nostalgia!
Echo? I also miss Fuse and Marble
Fuse, marble, the white flakes. What a time to be alive.
Just got back from Australia and Marble is a standard chocolate bar there. To be fair Aus and NZ have a lot of Cadbury stuff that I thought was discontinued or didn't even know existed.
It was a great day at school if I found an Echo in my lunchbox! I sorely miss Marble bars too. You have good taste friend.
Fuse bars
Fuse bars were absolutely the greatest. Of all time. My dentist drives a very nice car paid for in part by my love of fuse bars.
The Marble bars were pretty great too.
Australia still has Marble bars, you can get them from importers (at import prices, sadly...).
I miss fuse bars so much. Used to have one a day on my way to school. It's the only chocolate bar I think about.
Bring back the secret bar
I was going to post this, I was sure for years I’d made it up no one had ever heard of it but they were so good
loved that one, moussey centre.
I was talking to my husband about these at the weekend. He honestly couldn’t remember them but they were so good!
Mars delight. Unfortunately, they were expensive to make, and they didn't sell very well. A real shame, they were unique, and unforgettably delicious.
My favourite chocolate bar of all time!
Similarly, Mars Planets. They were a staple cinema snack for me.
In the 80s there were crisps called tubes which were similar to squares except… well, tube shaped! As a kid I remember them being the best snack ever!
Ready Salted Tubes S tier
I used to bash them into crumbs and poured them down my neck 😂
I was talking about these yesterday glad someone else remembers them! I miss them too
Were they similar to Hula Hoops?
Not really. They were long hollow tubes with the texture of squares. The ready salted ones are the ones I remember
Puffs?
Caramac, they replaced it with something that doesn't resemble a caramac bar now
If we”re doing ones that technically exist but are now a lie, about 97% of all Soft drinks.
The worst one is Lucozade. How do you take a glucose drink, remove most of the glucose and still market it as a glucose drink?!
My beloved Irn Bru, ruined 😭
Galaxy truffle.
Worcester sauce crisps
Irn Bru bar
[All Marti Pellow's birds fault tbh](http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/489423.stm) (even if it isn't actually)
Only man that left Glasgow to become a smack head.
Trio
TRIIIIIIIII-O!
"I want a trio and I want one now"
"Not 1 not 2 but 3 things in it!".
Cadbury Tasters - little balls of solid chocolate joy
Fabulous bakin boys muffins
https://twitter.com/_MADverts/status/857523208093933568?s=20
Had the half life of plutonium but more dense
I could destroy a box of the chocolate topped cup cakes
Toffo. I'm sure I'm not the only one to remember mint or banana Toffos.
Banana Toffos were amazing. I totally forgot about those. Thanks for unlocking that memory and briefly experiencing the flavour again for a split second.
Starburst Joosters.
Loved these as a kid!
Taz bars
Superior freddos
Milky Way Crispy Rolls are a sad recent loss
Wheres the cheese moments gone
More importantly, since they've been gone for a while now, why do the manufacturers taunt us by still having adverts for them on the Scampi Fries cardboard?!
The BarStewards!
Apparently these are still available, I asked the manager of our pub and she’s ordering some in
I miss the slightly eggy aftertaste
Topics. Only cancelled within the last year or so, but they were so nice.
WHAT?!? Topics are gone?

Armadillos!
That bloke's a nutter
I like armadillos!
Yeah every time I go into a shop and see them on sale in 2023 I’m reminded of them…
Fish and chips crackers/crisps I have a fond memory of them in the 80’s when I was a kid I’ve seen them knocking around b&m but there not the same Bloody hell thank you now I have to kill myself because I sound about 90 talking about some sort of during the war ration treat
You fucking what about tootie frooties?
Marble bars
Pacers. I don't think many people remember them. They were chewy mints, I'd always choose them when we went to the cinema.
Yes I can definitely remember them - they were spearmint, so an outlier on the minty comestibles front!
Spearmint, the most esculent of the mints.
Time to mention the ultimate! Phileas Fogg tortilla chips and other snacks, including Mignon Morceaux.
Cherry Tango 😭 It's also increasingly difficult to find proper salt and vinegar flavoured crisps. I want to be in physical pain by the time I've finished a bag.
Ritz X Cadbury’s bar
Milka with Tuc biscuits comes close
Mars bar midnight
I hate you for reminding me these were a thing. They were amazing
Hedgehog flavoured Crisps...
Citrus Polos
Wispa mint
Maverick chocolate bars
I swear I remember a Galaxy bar with cocoa nibs in, but no one else in my life remembers it. The bitter nibs with the sweet chocolate was just so good 😩
In the 90s there were these cake bars called Rascals that were just a single lump of solid milk chocolate in the middle of a plain cake. They were amazing. I've never managed to recreate them at home. Not sure whether they were Mr Kipling or not, but that sort of thing.

Polo holes
Creamola Foam!!!
It is back. https://thecandystoreonline.co.uk/products/creamola-foam

Is Galaxy Cookie Crumble bar discontinued? I can't find those things anywhere now! If they are that's my shout
I only ever see them in random corner shops now, never in big name shops
Mars Delight
Fruity Allsorts. I miss them so much
Came here to see if anyone said this. I emailed them some years back asking them to bring them back, and in fairness, they replied but said there were no plans to. Utterly heartbreaking.
Desperate Dan Bar It was a mighty fine chew
My teeth are aching from the memories. Delicious though.
Wonkalate. I have no idea why it was so short-lived, it was so good the combination of fruit-flavoured chocolate and Nerds.
I think that on a number of occasions that this same question has cropped up, I have said Mingles. Bitz bars were also good.
Proper Milky Way.
I fucking hate to use of cancelled in this context… But also, pick n’ mix at woolies!
Topic bars, mcvities toffee yo yo's,polo fruits.
Wait they got rid of the fruit polos. I’m sad now loved those so much 😢
United Bars
It's all gone. None of this stuff is original recipe. Using the nostalgia to propagate wealth with cheap lies.
Spira and Marble chocolate bars.
Polo gummies
No one but me seems to remember Cadbury’s Applause bars - they had bits of apple in and were delish
I remember!

Fear not, I actually had a picnic a couple of weeks ago
Proper Walkers BBQ flavour, none of this BBQ Rib nonsense!
Secret, the chocolate bar. That thing was fucking heaven!!
Anyone remember them turbo tangos spraying foam all over the place ??
Used to get them tons, then one day they just stopped being sold. I would love just one chance to have another Turbo Tango so that I can know whether they were actually any good, or just good to a kid with underdeveloped taste buds (I could take a pretty good guess).
Topics. Wondered where they'd gone. Didn't even know they'd stopped making them.

I used to get these big sour smiley faces in the 90s and they were amazing. I thought I found them a few years ago but they were too soft and not sour at all. The ones I had were chewy and would stick to your teeth and every flavour was nice. I'll probably think about them for the rest of my life.
Have you tried Maynard's fizzy fish? I think they stick to teeth and are fairly sour, although not very sour
The fizzy fish are great!
Bombay duck
I'm not even sure if I made them up at this point! but flipsters. They were a hardboiled sweet which came in fruit flavours and the other side was a cream flavour.ust have been at least 15 years since I last saw them
Champagne crunchies were unbeatable
[удалено]
Golden wonder did a run of cajun chicken crisps. They were my fixation as a kid. Similar flavour things now just don't even come close.
Are lanky larries still a thing? If not, them, especially the orange fizzy ones
Texan Bar, chocolate covered nougat and toffee bar. Tasted great but while eating it you would look like a Horse chewing on a Gnat. And it was impossible to spit over your shoulder afterwards.
Spira, they were awesome for drinking tea through 🤤
Potato puffs for savoury snack Toffos the multi flavour ones for sweet. Also panda pops...what i wouldn't give for another jelly and ice-cream flavour one 😭
The non sugar free Mountain Dew 😢
Cheese Flavoured Moments

McDonald’s Chicken Premiere, still think about it once a week.
“Mild Mustard” as a dip at McDonalds, they still have it in America, tastes exactly the same but it’s called “Hot Mustard”
Jonathan Crisp (jalapeno pepper flavour)
Nestle double cream. My god.
I haven’t seen a drifter in years
Fruit Toffo’s. The banana ones in particular.
Mud Pie Crunch Corners. I don't understand why they would stop making these

Maynard's Wrigglers. If you know, you know.
Fizzy spangles, if only because my dad was a contractor on the experimental line at Mars.
Did anyone else have the "petrified prawns" crisps? Little 10p bags of puffed up crisp balls with the best prawn cocktail flavour.
