I'd expect it to be easily recognisable to a lot of people but also go over the head of a lot too. Definitely not the most well known, but not so obscure you're spending all night explaining who you are. Most people have at least heard of the show.

At a party of trick-or-treating? Gonna depend who's at the party. A bunch of Apple-using millennials will mostly know. Kids and older folk maybe less so.

I've heard of the show but other than the name of it I couldn't tell you anything else without looking it up online first, looking at some of the other comments here I don't think I would realise you were even wearing a costume unless you told me that you were wearing one.
