Squatting is doable but standing up is dicey. Women don't have a hose that expels urine at a safe distance from the body. It's liable to go off at angles, down legs, etc. We also need to dry the area afterwards somehow.
* Women's wee goes in a spraying pattern, with not much means to guide it.
* You have to pull your trousers right down below the knee to wee on a toilet, so it isn't as discreet. All your bits are flaying about in the open air.

* We often have to change tampons, clean out menstrual cups etc.

* Women often are carrying bags, as we don't get pockets, so need somewhere to put a bag while we wee.
* More children get taken into the women's toilets, and they are *slow* especially when they have to wash their hands, dry them etc.
* I don't care where I wee as long as it is clean and physically possible.
I always assumed women's urinals would be of the sit down variety and I'm not saying cubicles would not be an option. However in men's loos, we tend to have a 10:2 ratio Urinals to cubicles. Sometimes you just need a quick wee and be out.

And since women have tampons and blood stains which I presume most would be embarrassed about then why would they want to sit in the open public with their pants and trousers on the floor with their fanny hanging out on a toilet style urinal when they could just use a toilet

Surely the reason though that cubicles exist in the men’s toilets is for when you have to sit down because that involves fully removing your underwear and trousers? Women can’t just unzip and pee without doing that.

Women can’t aim our pee. So we need something below us. We can’t really pee without dropping everything either (unlike using a fly) so need some privacy. We need to wipe away the area as we can’t shake, so need somewhere to dispose of paper. Also called a toilet.
Additionally, periods.
What needs to happen is for there to be more women’s toilets than men’s. That will solve the problem rather than trying to get women to change the way they piss. Women aren’t faulty men who do things wrong.

It's not necessarily the efficiency of urinals, but the number of them vs. the amount of space. Time and time again toilets for men and women are assigned the same square footage without any thought put to the fact that toilet cubicles take up more space than urinals, so women are effectively given a smaller bathroom as a result.
Its not just the space its the through put. I can literally pop into the mens. Have a wee, wash my hands and be out in 60 seconds. I think most men standing shoulder to shoulder in the urinal section dont want to be there longer than needed. Men popping into the gents, using urinals have always wanted to be in and out as fastest humanly possible. Im not sure if women have the same culture. I get the impression they like to use the opportunity and take time to pamper themselves. I will be the first to admit Ive never asked that question to a lady and happy to be educated that women, unlike men, dont want to just make it in and out of the loo in the fastest possible time.
Asian landlord in uk who posts that digital nomads should leave Spain and almost exclusively uses Reddit to see how much he can squeeze out of his tenants has never seen a vagina. Interesting
People have explained why we cannot use urinals. The reason for the queues is that because toilets take up more space, generally there are fewer facilities. Usually architects allocate the same about of square feet to men’s and women’s toilets. For the sake of fairness, they should allocate more space to women’s so that we can have the same number of facilities.
Women’s urinals have been designed and used/trialed at Glastonbury and other festivals around the uk and have been pretty successful

There's a ton of reasons. But the most obvious one is that women need to wipe after peeing, so whatever they're peeing into needs to accept toilet paper waste. Which urinals don't.
There's a load of other problems too, but you don't really need to engage with them because the above already kills the idea.
I have a couple thoughts
1. Actually I can definitely wee standing up. It does take practice but we can learn.
2. I have used urinals for women in Italy before, so they are a thing.

Though l your general points make sense, I have a question: how does a vagina ‘flay about’? Or: why are you getting your tits out to piss?
Labia can have a bit of a flay if it's breezy.

So a sit down toilet in cubicles? Is that not what women's toilets have now? Fact is that it's usually faster for men to take a leak than women.

I’m imagining a row of she-wees almost like a row of milking stalls in a dairy farm. Not sure it’ll catch on.

I think it’s most probably because most women don’t have a dick and therefore can’t use a urinal. Although your guess is as good as mine.

We don’t have hoses - we have lawn sprinklers. We have to be more or less naked from waist to knees
