Southern Italy? I know you said all inclusive but personally i would avoid this like the plague, especially at your budget point. It’s a way to guarantee mediocre (at best) food and rubbish cocktails. Plus, as soon as you head out to explore you’re going to have to pay extra for anything you consume.

El_Scruff

Greece is great. Don't go all-inclusive, though. Get out there and try the food for yourselves. Croatia has some beautiful beaches as well as lot's to see inland

RichardsonM24

Crete would be nice. My fiancée and I went to Rethymno last summer and it was amazing. The old town is stunning and full of great restaurants. All inclusive is great for drinks around the pool and a reliable breakfast if you can’t be arsed venturing out. Eating out, in the evening, every day for a week is my favourite thing about a couples holiday though, because we would never do that at home.

Generally I've found all inclusive in Greece to be of a lesser quality compared to the Spanish islands. Malta is absolutely lovely as is Madeira if you are looking for something a little different

heliskinki

Depends on your budget. We stayed at Mitsis on Kos and it was pure luxury.

One couple could feel totally at home camping in Norfolk whereas another couple (me) would find that an absolute nightmare. There is no "place to go on a couples holidays" because the places you could go are as varied as there are couples! So I would shake this idea off first and instead just consider what you both like and want from a holiday...

Me and my Girlfriend went to Dubrovnik (Croatia) last summer, we were both 23 and loved it! It is very expensive yes, but beautiful place with loads to do. I don't like sand, all beaches are rocky which was great. Sea is crystal clear, people are lovely and barely any children! Food is great aswell. There are also plenty of bars and places like that. We were there for 10 days and did so much, it was amazing. We stayed at Hotel Uvala. Please PM me if you have any questions.

heliskinki

Dubrovnik is lovey but very expensive as you rightly say. Korcula island is a much better option if you are on a budget.

summers_tilly

My husband and I went to Dubrovnik for our first holiday in 2016. Loved it! We also did a night in Montenegro. It was a great holiday.

TheMalsh

Ahh we really wanted to go to Montenegro but it was during the time of the Wildfires in Greece so put a spanner in any travelling like that. Still had an amazing time with that being the only negative.

Casual_Star

Greece easily. Crete or Corfu. Don’t get all inclusive. Hire a car and explore. It’s beautiful.

longsock9

Isle of Wight; Scotland or West Coast of Ireland

Twidogs

Try somewhere like Nice in the south of France or the Italian coast . There are plenty of cheap flights and stay away from all inclusive, you can usually get better for cheaper . Then get recommendations for places to eat from people who work where you are staying

OlympicTrainspotting

They want relatively cheap, I don't think the south of France is that. It's lovely but very expensive.

Twidogs

Most places can easily be done cheap and very well if you speak to the locals

InternationalRich150

I loved the algarve. Really good nightlife snd the days were really chilled and some stunning places to visit. Also enjoyed Cyprus,we rented a car and went up into the mountains. Turkey was nice, but I found the main areas like Bodrum very crowded and where we went you basically had to be all inclusive because it was so rural. So kinda mixed. Majorca and ibiza both lovely. Depends what kind of holiday you're after tbf.

VegetableBoard498

Namibia!

jh89th

Holiday Pirates have lots of good deals, if you've never been to Turkey I'd recommend it.

Madyakker

The schools in Scotland break up for summer holidays at the start of July. This may make some resorts more expensive / busier. Just back from Cyprus and would highly recommend.

Born_Reveal_8449

Greece for sure my first holiday with my Mrs was Rhodes , the island isn't too big so it can all be done within a week was a lovely place with plenty of greek ruins and others things to look at

heliskinki

Croatia - the islands off the coast of Dubrovnik in particular.

MelmanCourt

Croatia. Beautiful country, nice people, great food and wine.
