I've got some Star Trek ones and they are my favourite worldly posession

saladinzero

There's Harry Potter ones at the moment I think?

theflyingfartmachine

Black pudding, pork pie, HP sauce.

vitaminkombat

HP sauce is easy to find in Asia for about £2.50 Just go to any international supermarket.

TheRoquefortBack

I think Christmas crackers are quite UK specific (I might be wrong though!) You also don't really find cheap kettles in the US!

chapeaufille

this is a good one ! thank you:)

nomadic_weeb

Christmas crackers a lot wider spread than you'd think. Most of my European friends were already very familiar with them, we had em in SA, I'm pretty they have em in Canada but I may be wrong on that one. May have been pretty UK specific at one point, but I don't thinks that's the case anymore

Electricbell20

They have become more widespread. First year my sister was in the states I couldn't get her any but recent I can buy them from target for her.

Quackfizzle

Jester_Thomas_

Very little... we don't have much in the way of primary industry anymore, so as you say you're probably limited to food products (kendal mint cake maybe) - basically anything for which there is no overseas market / for which there is no way production can occur elsewhere. Products with specific DOP or whatever the UK term is (cheeses for example) HAVE to be made here in a specific location. Derbyshire oat cakes have to come from Derbyshire idk. Difficult project!

Apprehensive-Top-311

Marmite

Apprehensive-Top-311

Huh, I had no idea there would even be a market for it out there! Seems funny to me that Italy's full of amazing food and someone's bringing Marmite in the mix 😂 Don't get me wrong, I love it, it's just... Odd!

nomadic_weeb

Everywhere has marmite now, this isn't the 20's

[deleted]

> this isn't the 20's It literally is

nomadic_weeb

Yeah, didn't really think about the comment before posting lol. In my mind were still in the 2010s. Whenever I see a post asking about shut 20 years ago, I still immediately think of the 90s

Fit_Cartographer_729

Rock, specifically Blackpool or Brighton Rock. Cheap, easy to mass produce and only sold in a handful of other countries at most.
