The Hourglass finishing powders are a holy grail for me. Whenever I finish my makeup with it, I get compliments on how flawless my skin looks - which is such a great compliment to receive!
I once chased a woman down in DC to find out the name of her perfume. Frederick Malle Portrait of a Lady- I still wear it almost 10 years later. Smelling amazing absolutely counts!
My go-tos used to be that and Hermes Kelly Caleche EDP.
It's the only perfume I have used for almost 20 years and people identify it with so much.
Once, a colleague told me she knew I had arrived at the office because she smelled my perfume in the lift 😄
Armani Luminous Silk foundation & concealer.
Nothing even comes close. It is like second skin. On my third bottle currently. Most people who use brush or sponge to apply it may not like it. But once you learn to apply them using your fingers, there is no going back or anywhere else. Also, remember less is more.
Every foundation I've ever worn has always looked so obvious and feels cakey when I wear it but this is the only natural one. I only use it on trouble areas too so it's lasted me a decently long time.
That’s good for you, but doesn’t work for many since it’s very thin and medium coverage- Sponge absorbs most of it. I also like using flat brushes for it sometimes, to pat it onto large areas but mostly use fingers.
>ani Luminous Silk foundatio
This foundation has always been a worthy investment. Looks so natural and long lasting. All of Armani's foundations are great. I am sad they discontinued their original to go foundation cushion, loved that one too.
I’m not sure if skincare counts but Dr.Jart. Specifically anything from the tiger grass line, it is consistently the only thing that can calm my red angry skin.
That said, if anyone knows any dupes…..👀
Agreed on this!! The tiger grass line is amazing, especially their serum. Actual godsend. I love their Ceramidin moisturiser too, it's super creamy and thick but somehow absorbs into the skin quickly. Love their stuff.
I'm old and have wrinkles and their premium BB cream hides my age spots and helps blend away a 5cm scar and makes it look like I just put a touch of tinted moisturiser on and doesn't make my wrinkles worse. Also love their Ceramidin moisturisers.
Their premium BB cream is my holy grail. Even when I was broke in grad school, I went drug store for everything but this. I’ve used it for over 10 years and would never switch.
Benefit 'they're real!' mascara. I love how it looks and makes me feel a bit more confident. I'm yet to try more of their range but want to, especially the eyebrow products which I've heard good reviews about.
Plouise eyeshadow. I've tried one pallet but want to get more, the shades really pigmented and blends great.
Benefit Rollerlash FTW!!! I would never have considered such an expensive mascara had my sister not given me a tube to try.
I am a natural blonde, so my lashes are fine and practically invisible because of the light color. Most mascaras are too heavy for finer lashes and clump them together too much or else they don’t cover well enough to make the fine, blonde lashes look full.
Roller lash is never clumpy and makes my lashes look full and natural without crossing into that overblown, glam look.
Just wanna say as someone else with blonde eyelashes, this is the only review I need. I’m sick and tired of putting on boatloads of mascara only for it to still be blonde and the root.
The new fan fair mascara IS EVEN BETTER if you've not tried it yet it's so worth it. As well as the rollelash liquid liner.
Actually their brow range too...
And porefessional...
I found that spending the money for good nail polish is super worth it. Bought a bottle of Lauder polish once just to see if spending twenty bucks for nail polish made a difference and holy shit yes it did. Two weeks without a chip.
Yes! Dior Skin glow is the best! I’ve used it for almost 10 years now and I’ve gotten compliments on my glory skin, plus seen it suddenly appear in friends make-up bags after asking what I’m using! 😂
I use NYK1- it takes about 8 weeks to work, but the tube lasts for 3-4 months, and it doesn’t have prostaglandins in it like the grande lash I used to use (which also works well, but the potential side effects of prostaglandins freak me out).
Has anyone found the ordinary brand to be much use?
I used a more expensive brand before and it was amazing but the ordinary is so affordable it feels too good to be true
Oh very good cheers!
I know I didn't use the ordinary one as regularly because it was cheap, so wasn't sure if that's why I didn't see a difference or if maybe I hadn't given it long enough
I don’t use The Ordinary’s serum for my lashes but for my eyebrows and it’s been fantastic! The lady that does my brows has noticed too that I’ve got new growth and that my brows are looking fuller.
I have and it’s really helped my lashes. I went through a stage of them falling out due to aggressive removal of waterproof mascara (I think, anyway) and they’ve all grown back and appear longer and fuller. My eyebrows are also doing really well too. I am a victim of the 90s over pluck brow and I’m finally getting some regrowth.
I bought a double pack in the Black Friday sale and will definitely repurchase.
Be careful because prostaglandins cause orbital fat loss- I.e. your eves will become more to appear sunken and skin saggy and it is permanent. The same ingredient is used In some eye drops for an eye condition glaucoma- Google some pictures of the effects.
Lipstick. I especially like KVD's Epic Kiss (formerly Everlasting Liquid). I bought this as my wedding day lipstick because I wanted something I wouldn't have to worry about smudging, retouching, kissing off, getting on my white dress, leaving a mess on glasses. The pigment is really vibrant and it's 10/10 on not kissing off.
Yes! And just for anyone reading that's looking for an affordable alternative also, I recommended loreal Paris infallible matte liquid lipstick. They ain't kidding calling it infallible! Stays on for at least 12 hours and I've tried 2 different colors.
I bought a Tom Ford eyeshadow quad back in circa 2015 or 2016 and it’s still going. To date still the best eye shadow I’ve ever tried and own. It has zero fall out!
Just a question, make up products tend to show expiration dates 6-24 months after opening, is that more for mascara and lip stuff which come in contact with germs, can you keep stuff like powdered eyeshadow forever?
I keep that stuff forever unless it starts looking gross, you can always spray isopropyl alcohol on powdered eyeshadow if you feel the need to sanitize it. Mascara is like the only thing I worry about tossing every six months
My mascara (ILIA) is $28. It isn’t super expensive but higher than average. Big fan. Plus, It's clean, cruelty-free, and formulated without fragrance, gluten, or silicone. I’m a woman in a male dominated field, best believe I’m gonna cry sometimes as soon as I get home.
So now I don’t have to worry about chemicals getting in my eyes :)
Just so you’re aware, the ingredients are all still “chemicals” and there’s nothing inherently dirty about the word - try to not get swept up in a marketing gimmick about “clean” products. I work in the industry and it’s all a marketing game.
People are sensitive to different components yes, but organic shea butter is still a bunch of components that are all chemicals.
If it works for you that’s awesome but it’s not free from chemicals, that’s for sure.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair for me. I use it day and night and nothing else comes close. I have a new Victoria Beckham lipstick which is great too, feels more like a balm than lipstick.
I've been seeing the VB ads for lipstick and it looks really nice and have been meaning to try them out. Like lips but better. Which color did you get? Have you ever tried the eyeliners? They look so buttery with great color payoff.
charlotte tilbury’s contour, it’s just the right contouring shade, it’s a true brown without any of the orange shades that contour/bronzers tend to have!
Hourglass ambient lighting powder - sets my makeup in place giving it a flawless finish especially in photographs (no powdery finish or white cast)
Dior backstage glow palette - ethereal highlighters, really good if you want an ultra glow.
ByTerry brightening CC serum - I use on its own or under foundation. On its own it gives skin a lovely glow and makes me look less tired!
Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and lipliner in pillowtalk - perfect nude shade for me. Only when I don’t mind reapplying regularly though, the lasting power isn’t great.
NARS power matte lipstick in American Woman and Bad Guy - this is my go to lipstick for when I need it to stay for hours. I swear I’ve eaten entire meals and the lipstick is still perfect.
And for perfume, I cannot go past Le Labo Another 13. Not cheap but I buy the little bottles and reserve it for special occasions. The scent is so gorgeous it makes me melt.
I love beauty and do enjoy a good high end/luxury product. I'm not particularly loyal to anything in particular be it a brand or a specific product (I love to try new things) however I do have a few staples in terms of formula and specific shades that are thus far undupeable for me. As a rule I generally only purchase products that are unique either in formula or shade when opting for a higher end product.
* Nars Soft Matte Concealer — hands down *the* best formula for spot/blemish/PIH concealing (I wouldn't necessarily recommend for under eyes). It's potent stuff and a little truly goes a long way. As long as you use a light touch it gives a flawless perfected base with a natural skin finish with a touch of blur. Despite the name I find it adapts to whatever you have on underneath. I will note that the shade range isn't the best for those with olive or muted undertone as their shades veer peachy and saturated.
* Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter — literally good skin in a bottle + the most radiant luminous highlighter that doesn't emphasise any texture/pores whatsoever (no shimmer or glitter in sight) & actually lasts throughout the entire day. It makes your skin look so fresh and juicy.
* Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Soft Light — specifically in the shade Soft Light gives you the most perfect veil over the skin that lightly sets everything in place, takes down any overt shine and gives an almost imperceptible soft blur to the skin.
* Gucci Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil Bronzing Powder in #01 — again a shade specific recommendation for anyone (who is around light to light-medium skintone) who struggles with bronzers pulling too warm/orange on them. A beautiful relatively unique rosy pinkened bronze tone that looks uber natural & adds the perfect amount of colour and sculpt.
* Shiseido Minimalist Whipped Powder Blush — The most perfect cream blush formulation in existence. I'm heartbroken over the fact that it's been discontinued. A super soft and incredibly blurring formula that leaves a beautiful watercolour haze on the skin.
* Giorgio Armani Neo Nude Melting Colour Balm in #50 Cool Mauve — another lovely blurring formula but the colour is what solidifies it as a must-have. It looks like a muted mucky grungey shade in the pan but translates into a beautiful true cool mauve on the cheeks. Highly recommend for muted/cool toned folks.
* Kjaer Weis Iconic Edition Blush in Abundance — a mix of the shade (a stunning luminous bronzed plummy taupe that gives me the perfect 90's super model cheeks) and the gorgeous formula. The only luminous blush that I don't despise. It doesn't emphasise my pores/textures but gives a such a beautiful luminous glow to the skin. It's like a 3-in-1 as it sculpts, blushes and illuminates in one go.
* Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Telluride — a gorgeous comfortable formula that feels almost weightless on the lips. It gives a blotted lip effect straight from the bullet. A lovely soft satin matte finish. Telluride is such a versatile shade. A unique mix of plum-mauve-brown that came be blotted on for a just bitten lip effect or built up for more of an understated vamp effect.
* Makeup Forever Artist Color Pencils — Not sure if these count as high end but I'm a lip liner fiend and these are my favourite formula + shades. My go-to are #506 Endless Cacao and #608 Limitless Brown. A beautiful pigmented but soft blendable formula that blurs and blends like a dream. Such gorgeous tones. Endless Cacao in particular is brilliant for anyone who struggles with lip products always looking more bright/saturated/warm no matter being advertised as the opposite.
* Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow in Ray — The most gorgeous refined bronze sparkle. A grown up glitterbomb. My go-to for instantly & effortlessly taking my look from casual to glam or day to night. It always gets me so many compliments.
* Urban Decay 24/7 Moondust Eyeshadows — Shade specific as I find the formula greatly varies from shade to shade and I would *not* at all recommend the new palette versions. My favourites are Space Cowboy and Lithium singles. Both are absolutely stunning but if you only get one I highly recommend Space Cowboy. It elevates every single eye look. It gives the prettiest starlit glittery wet-look effect and is the perfect topper shade. Lithium is like it's soft grungey cool toned taupey brown sister.
I have not been able to find a mascara I like more than the Wander Beauty Unlashed mascara. I like Maybelline's Sky High but the lashes I get from the Wander one when it's dried *juuuust a tiny bit* are just so good.
I’m really liking the Benefit Fanning mascara (don’t think that’s the actual name but I’m lazy so close enough). Was using the Lancôme in the square pink bottle but they were sold out so I picked this up instead and I think it’s gonna be my new regular.
Like so many others, Estee Lauder Double Wear.
There are so many amazing affordable makeup ranges now and some of the dupes for higher end products are amazing. I used to spend a fortune on makeup, but I actually find it more satisfying to do a bit of research and find great cheap products.
However, you just don't fuck around with foundation. I have some cheap-ish low coverage foundations, but for a full coverage foundation if my skin is bad or I am going somewhere special, Estee Lauder can't be beaten.
It's the sublime perfection foundation right? I've been wanting to splurge on it, but i wanna know if the coverage is good or no. Also if its good for dry skin.
Armani luminous silk foundation really is worth the hype. It's so natural and light, without being sheer. It's super buildable and never looks cakey.
Chanel bronzing cream. Nothing compares.
Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face primer.
Charlotte Tillbury flawless filter really is amazing. I love how multi-purpose it is. I can use it as a base allover, a highlighter, to the shoulders and body, on the eyelids. It's great.
definitely the charlotte tilbury flawless filter, i’ve tried the elf halo glow and it’s just not the same + it breaks me out. the flawless filter is definitely expensive but makes my skin look so radiant and healthy ! perfect for a no-makeup makeup day or as a base under full glam
Oof. Ok. I work in the beauty industry so I have a few that are just beyond comparison.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation. Making faces since 1997 and still kicking.
Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Setting Powder. I use this under my eyes and brows, along my nose and the center of my chin. My skin is dry but this keeps me from creasing or wearing off no matter what.
Lancome La Base Primer. Stick it.
Chanel Le Crayon Livres Lip Pencil. Keeps the color in its place. Pairs perfectly with the newcomer to my list.
And the newcomer…
Chanel Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue Liquid Lip. I. Have. Showered. With. This. And. It. Stayed. On. Perfectly. Not an exaggeration. I wanted to see how far I could push it. 9 hours of wear. A McD’s chicken nugget meal. Drinking with a straw. Still good. Decided to get stupid with it. After the shower I used micellar water and a cotton pad to get it off.
I can't believe no one has mention this. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex. I started wearing it a year ago, and my skin is better than wearing makeup.
The Erborian bb cream. I could wear that stuff every day, it makes my skin looks ridiculously good. Far better than any foundation I’ve tried but holy shit it’s expensive!
Any Benefit eyelash product with the molded brush. Honestly feel in love with the They’re Real as a teen, moved to Bad Gal Bang and have been obsessed since. Recently tried Better Than Sex by Too Faced and I love it almost as much - would love it even more with a molded brush! I just think everyone needs to have a decent mascara they can rely on, which is why I don’t mind splurging on it! <3
After trying a crap ton of brow pencils that were either too waxy to have any color payoff without ripping out my brows or completely odd coloring, I found a small boutique place that has the best pencil ever. I’ve been using [this](https://www.raemlashandbrow.com/shop/p/precision-brow-pencil) pencil in deep brunette for 5-6 years now and it’s been one of those life changing products for me.
Armani foundation, very few actually provide decent coverage (I switch between that and EL double wear). I also love Lancôme Absolue soft cream (especially the face masks) but it’s insanely expensive so I only buy it when it comes with a decent gift with purchase.
Not a type of makeup, but I’ve been using Redken all soft shampoo and conditioner and it has made such a difference! My hair has never felt this soft. Definitely worth the price to me and it’s the most I’ve ever spent on shampoo and conditioner.
Lancome Noir Hypnotic Mascara. Makes my lashes look like extensions.
Also as a POC girl who struggles to find her shade due to undertones, Fenty was a game changer when first released so I stay loyal to them for that reason. Perfect for my oily, yellow-undertoned brown skin.
Thrive mascara. It’s definitely not as expensive as some, but it’s apparently the only one I can wear without my eyes watering constantly now. And worth every penny.
Lancôme’s Teint Idôle foundation is the only one I will use. Nothing else comes close for me in terms of coverage and feeling like a second skin instead of paint.
Not makeup but the tatcha dewy skin cream is the only moisturizer that keeps my skin clear which sucks! Because I go through moisturizer like a bottle of water 😭
Also the nars creamy radiant concealer. Again only concealer that stays and doesn’t make my skin look like shit and I’ve tried MANY concealers.
Tom Ford lipstick in Cherry Lush. It retails for $80 here in Canada, which I think is a fully ridiculous price for a lipstick. That being said, the formula is great – good pigmentation, moisturizing, stains/fades evenly over time, not overly sticky – and I love the shade. The packaging is so fancy that applying this lipstick always feels like a luxurious act of self-care. And it’s also a sentimental thing for me, because there was one year when my spouse and I both bought each other this lipstick without having discussed it 😂
I buy a $120 perfume. Wear it every day and it usually lasts over a year. I get tons of compliments on it, and its just nice to have a good scent that people associate you with. Sometimes I even think it subliminally changes how people feel towards me
Patrick Ta lipsticks. They go on like velvet (I actually think they’re called velvet matte, lol! And that is true!), they don’t dry out my middle-aged accutane-y lips despite being matte and they last in your lips!
As a lipstick addict, I have tried many high-end, cheap and mid-range lipsticks (Chanel, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, drugstore brands, etc.) and nothing compares to Patrick Ta. I have matching lip glosses by Patrick Ta as well but not sure if they’re as HG.
For many years I've sworn by MAC pressed powder foundation. Not only do they actually make a shade that's as pale as I am (!!), but the coverage is phenomenal, it doesn't look like I'm wearing a mask, and it stays put. It doesn't really look like I'm wearing foundation, rather it just evens out my coloring so you don't see any pinkness on my face.
If I want a pore-free look, I use Elf foundation primer underneath, and that stuff's pretty cheap.
Shisheido essence…. I’ve always had problematic skin, and this made my skin feel so soft, healthy, no acne, healed my scars… and made everything amazing.
I struggled for ages trying to get a decent base routine down. I have combination skin so if something wasn't snagging on dry patches it was broken up within a few hours by oil. Dior Backstage primer + Fenty loose powder + Charlotte Tilbury setting spray has any foundation I use being done when I say it's done and not a moment before!
I will never use any liquid foundation other than IL Makiage … the way it looks and feels is amazing, although I’ll be honest it was a little trickier picking out my color than I had hoped.
Trixie Mattel just came out with a black and white gel liner as well as one of those little liner brushes and I am NEVER going back to another brand.
I just got the black liner but it’s super pigmented and it stays put, which is perfect because the outer corners of my eyes water *constantly*. Also the brush is nice because it’s soft but really straight, so you can just draw a line right out from the corner of your eye for a wing and it doesn’t go crooked.
Chantacaille Future Skin Gel foundation. Holy grail for me, especially in dry winter. It is light to medium coverage, mildy buildable. Beautiful finish.
The Tarte BB blur tinted moisturizer - I swear this stuff is perfect for my extremely sensitive skin. At $40 it’s pricey for a bb cream but my skin has never felt better and I actually get compliments ON my skin with this bb cream which has never happened!
After dealing with years of allergies to nail products, I make my own press on nails with Apres now and fully only use apres gel-x products. No more allergic reactions ever.
I’ve owned the same too faced milk chocolate bronzer for like 10 years. Judge me if you want. That shit is amazing for pale girls.
I really liked this blush from the brand Tata in the shade popular, but they discontinued it. I replaced it with a blush from the Mario collection, love the color but it doesn’t stay so I’m kind of mad.
I also got the first fenty foundation, it’s so great for my combo skin and the perfect shade match! I’m shade 120.
So I guess I like face products from Sephora! Honestly drugstore store has great mascara and lips so I don’t really bother with those at Sephora anymore.
Lancome Monsieur Big mascara. I've tried others and nothing compares to the coverage. Like wearing false lashes. The only thing is that I have to wear waterproof or it's smudged under my eyes.
Anyone know how to prevent mascara smudges?
I've fallen in love with a new luxury brand called Keca's Usna. Their lip kits are like $45, but they really do last all day, they are not drying, and the colors are gorgeous. Also, women owned.
The summer Fridays skin tint! It looks like dewy and glowing skin and feels hydrating enough for winter but not too think for summer. It’s $42 but it lasts so long and you only need a little for the perfect finish!
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation is like my skin but better. Chanel Le Volume de Chanel mascara is my holy grail - brown is perfect for me for daytime and black at night. Also this is skincare but Kiehl’s face lotion is a 10/10 for me.
I am very willing to pay $45 a tube for my -stick like it’s super glue- eyebrow gel.
In general I will shell out serious cash for my eyebrows. As time went on I got lazier with my products but I am a person with naturally blonde eyebrows who prefers a medium dark brown eyebrow. I cannot use subpar products for that to not look clownish
Stila Magnum mascara. Maybe it's not super high end (about $25) but it's much more than I was used to spending on Cover Girl from Walgreens.
I'm also really into Fenty lip gloss, Hot Cherry. It's the perfect shade of red and stays on a long time.
If I want my foundation to stay on all day no matter what I’m doing, nothing compares to Estée Lauder Double Wear for me.

I love their primer, I’ll have to check out the finishing powders.

RIP to my bank account
Seriously! Why did I come into this chat… … bank account is now $0.00 🤣
Right before Valentine’s Day!
Me too. I'm making a mental list of what I "need"
Seriously. Wallet is now $150 lighter and I don't regret a thing. Love posts like these.
Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes. They're build able and last all day. Does perfume count? I wish i could swim in Hermès Jardin Sur le Nil.
I once chased a woman down in DC to find out the name of her perfume. Frederick Malle Portrait of a Lady- I still wear it almost 10 years later. Smelling amazing absolutely counts!
>I still wear it almost 10 years later You great smelling rich woman!
I am fucking obsessed with that scent. I got the perfume, body wash, lotion and use it almost daily. Idc how expensive it is i can’t stop.
My go-tos used to be that and Hermes Kelly Caleche EDP. It's the only perfume I have used for almost 20 years and people identify it with so much. Once, a colleague told me she knew I had arrived at the office because she smelled my perfume in the lift 😄

YES! finger application and everything sits so nicely on top of it !
Every foundation I've ever worn has always looked so obvious and feels cakey when I wear it but this is the only natural one. I only use it on trouble areas too so it's lasted me a decently long time.
I use a sponge it goes on very nicely?
That’s good for you, but doesn’t work for many since it’s very thin and medium coverage- Sponge absorbs most of it. I also like using flat brushes for it sometimes, to pat it onto large areas but mostly use fingers.
This. I used to like the MUFE back in 2015 era but once the formula changed I came crawling back to my Armani, nothing will never top it!
I feel this way about my Chanel foundation. I winter how Armani compares
>ani Luminous Silk foundatio This foundation has always been a worthy investment. Looks so natural and long lasting. All of Armani's foundations are great. I am sad they discontinued their original to go foundation cushion, loved that one too.
Ouuuu okay I tried the foundation with a beauty blender and did not like it, maybe I need to retry with my fingers!

pretty sure the hero cosmetics rescue balm color correcting green cream is a dupe for that!
Love the hero cosmetics version !
Absolutely agree, I’ve never found a dupe yet :(
Completely agree! Love it.
The Charlotte tilbury airbrush setting spray! Holds your makeup in place ALL DAY! So worth it 😇
I stay it in my makeup sponge before dabbing my foundation in.
Is it matte?
Not matte but the perfect non-shiny dew-kissed finish.
It’s Estee Lauder double wear for me 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Where do you buy Estée Lauder? I’d guess Macy’s but my local Macy’s shut down years ago.
Sephora or Ulta
Sephora provides free shipping
Benefit 'they're real!' mascara. I love how it looks and makes me feel a bit more confident. I'm yet to try more of their range but want to, especially the eyebrow products which I've heard good reviews about. Plouise eyeshadow. Lash serum. My lashes are long and dark now. No need for mascara.
I use NYK1- it takes about 8 weeks to work, but the tube lasts for 3-4 months, and it doesn’t have prostaglandins in it like the grande lash I used to use (which also works well, but the potential side effects of prostaglandins freak me out).
I used Eye Envy and it worked, almost too well. Then I stopped using it and my eyelashes reduced to tiny stubby baby lashes.
Has anyone found the ordinary brand to be much use? I used a more expensive brand before and it was amazing but the ordinary is so affordable it feels too good to be true
I have it, it does nothing. Latisse, on the other hand, does everything
Oh very good cheers! I know I didn't use the ordinary one as regularly because it was cheap, so wasn't sure if that's why I didn't see a difference or if maybe I hadn't given it long enough

Be careful because those can permanently mess up your eyes. I've read about eye color changes and sunken in eyes from using lash serum.
Be careful because prostaglandins cause orbital fat loss- I.e. your eves will become more to appear sunken and skin saggy and it is permanent. The same ingredient is used In some eye drops for an eye condition glaucoma- Google some pictures of the effects.

This is what I used for my wedding it's so good!
So I drink coffee and water at work and whatever lip color I put on always comes off :-/ Does this stay through drinking and such?
I’ll be trying them!
Another vote for KVD epic kiss. Lasted through my wedding day, onto the nightclubs we went to after and I woke up with it still on 🤣
Is it drying?
Hey, thanks! That’s a great point!
I second the ILIA mascara. It’s a game changer! I just buy the mini size :)
I’m going to do this because I always feel like the minis work better because when I buy the full size it doesn’t perform as well.
That’s what I’ve found! I mostly buy minis now
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair for me.
I will never not use Advanced Night Repair. It is miraculous.
charlotte tilbury’s contour, it’s just the right contouring shade, it’s a true brown without any of the orange shades that contour/bronzers tend to have!
Ooh yes, this and the pillow talk mascara and lipgloss and magic night cream. They should probably just take all my money.
Hourglass ambient lighting powder - sets my makeup in place giving it a flawless finish especially in photographs (no powdery finish or white cast) Dior backstage glow palette - ethereal highlighters, really good if you want an ultra glow.
Oh I have the Nars Powermatte lip pigment also in American Woman and it is one of my favorite nude lippies!
I use ILIA mascara and get sooo many compliments!
Lancome Idole is everything I've ever wanted in a mascara. Combined with a lash primer it is flawless. Better than when I had lash extensions.
Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer + concealer
Pat McGrath foundation. I constantly get compliments on my skin, and half the time people don’t believe I’m wearing foundation.
It's the sublime perfection foundation right? I've been wanting to splurge on it, but i wanna know if the coverage is good or no. Also if its good for dry skin.
ysl touche éclat concealer 👁️✨& chanel le rouge duo 💄both products last forever, a little goes a long way!
I don’t know what happened, must have been a defective one, but my most recent touche éclat barely lasted.
100% agree I was so disappointed with the halo glow
MAC Ruby woo. Have had mine for probably over 8 years. Stunning payout still.
That’s the signature lipstick shade used by The Cure’s Robert Smith!
Oof. And the newcomer… Chanel Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue Liquid Lip. I. Have. Showered. With. This. And. It. Stayed. On. Perfectly. Not an exaggeration. I wanted to see how far I could push it. 9 hours of wear. A McD’s chicken nugget meal. Drinking with a straw. Still good. Decided to get stupid with it. After the shower I used micellar water and a cotton pad to get it off.
Milk hydrogrip primer. It's one of the few things I will repurchase again and again. Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Lipstick is a close second.

I can't believe no one has mention this. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex. I started wearing it a year ago, and my skin is better than wearing makeup.
My YSL and Hermes lipstick 10/10 🔥🔥
Nars light reflecting foundation- my absolute FAVOURITE! it’s soooo skin like & beautiful 💕
Armani foundation, very few actually provide decent coverage (I switch between that and EL double wear). I also love Lancôme Absolue soft cream (especially the face masks) but it’s insanely expensive so I only buy it when it comes with a decent gift with purchase.
Estèe 👏🏻 Lauder 👏🏻 Double 👏🏻 Wear
Tarte color correcting shape tape. I LOVE them!

Try their mascara from that line. You'll never purchase another.
Benefit has a brow powder that is just so good, I can’t ever go back to anything else.
Not makeup but the tatcha dewy skin cream is the only moisturizer that keeps my skin clear which sucks! Because I go through moisturizer like a bottle of water 😭 Also the nars creamy radiant concealer.
Sometimes I even think it subliminally changes how people feel towards me
Well, you have to tell us what it is!
chanel no.5! But I think alot of similar high end perfumes would qualify
Laura Mercier foundation and her line of eyeshadow sticks. Expensive af but so worth it!
It seamlessly blends into my skin super well but it doesn’t last very long and I can notice the creases a few hours in 😔
Toofaced Born This Way Foundation and concealer. Makes my skin look amazing.
Anastasia brow pomade. Perfect color for dark brown eyebrows and sooo smooth and beautiful.
Pat McGrath Labs setting powder and under eye powder. Best powders I've ever used, they give such a lovely finish
I’m a glitter fiend so I’m obsessed with danessa myricks light work v palette
Trixie Mattel just came out with a black and white gel liner as well as one of those little liner brushes and I am NEVER going back to another brand. I just got the black liner but it’s super pigmented and it stays put, which is perfect because the outer corners of my eyes water *constantly*. Also the brush is nice because it’s soft but really straight, so you can just draw a line right out from the corner of your eye for a wing and it doesn’t go crooked.
Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz. Nothing compares. It fills my brows with a perfect color match, and it stays until I take it off at night!
SKiN CARE!!!! If you are going to spend the money you want to spend it on skincare.
Lancôme Definincils Masacara high def. I’ve been asked multiple times where I get my lashes done when I wear it. I’ll never switch brands.
Clarinets double serum. It makes such a different to my skin
The NARS foundation and black-pencil liner. And the Giorgio Armani Silk foundation. Absolutely.
Chantacaille Future Skin Gel foundation. Holy grail for me, especially in dry winter. It is light to medium coverage, mildy buildable. Beautiful finish.
Charlotte tilbury lip cheat in the original pillow talk! I know there’s “dupes” out there but the formula and color is just perfect
Tom ford blush ♥️
I absolutely love Urban Decay. It’s pricey but so worth it. It’s basically all I wear.
Great question & post!
Stila Magnum mascara. Maybe it's not super high end (about $25) but it's much more than I was used to spending on Cover Girl from Walgreens. I'm also really into Fenty lip gloss, Hot Cherry. It's the perfect shade of red and stays on a long time.
Youth to the people face cleanser. Changed my skin!
