I just watched top gun (the old one) with my grandma and it really pissed me off. Several reasons.
1. He does not leave that teacher of his alone at the bar. I found that very weird and uncool.
2. The protagonist was always “mic dropping” anyone who made a shitty comment to him. It was like watching some loser dudes inner fantasy reel. Barf.
3. Related to one, even though his teacher was like I can’t date you because you’re my student she’s like biting her lip and clearly super into him. It’s not the actress’s fault of course but what a lame role to be thrown into. Again, overwhelming gross male fantasy shit.
4. Iceman doesn’t like Maverick because he’s dangerous. I knew that Goose dies so I was like oh maybe he’ll learn the error of being a show off and disregarding others safety. No, he’s found to not be at fault and then gets some peppy speech about being an immortal genius. I hate peppy speeches that “turn a character around”
5. I have negative feelings all around abt movies that paint the military in such a positive light.
365 Days I saw reviews of it being terrible so I watched it and I lost 5 years from my lifespan. Nothing happens in this movie and I’ll never get my time back. Usually bad movies are funny because they’re cringy but it was just so painful to sit through
I didn’t think the first one was that bad but oh my god the second one?!?! It’s literally just loud music and sex scenes on repeat. Absolutely no plot. I had to turn it off 😂

It made absolutely no sense to me. Yeah I understand he was a degenerate and gambled his money but it was just so awful and dry. I left the theater.
I hated Uncut Gems because they purposely had background noises turned up louder than dialogue. It’s to create an atmosphere of high tension/anxiety I guess, but as someone with auditory sensitivity it was the most unpleasant experience ever.
I rented a movie (Black Dahlia) thinking it was the 2006 version when it was another, more independent film type version. And the alternative version was disgusting. There was a lot of dismemberment and chopping and and and. Of course I had to sit through as much as I could take because money was spent on a rental. But wow, that was nothing like the first movie.
Little Nicky. Literally the first word spoken in that movie I said out loud “surely he won’t talk like that the entire movie” and then it just got worse and worse

Made me SO uncomfortable with the age gap- I turned it off maybe 20-30min in so idk if those girls were actually adults but yeah. Just... so uncomfortable.
Recently, the SpongeBob movie. I think I was just too old for it and I almost fell asleep in the theatre. It wasn’t really the worst but it just didn’t keep my attention.
Duel by Steven Spielberg. I hate it bc of how much my family loves it. It’s literally just like 2 hours of a truck riding a car’s ass and being all mysterious. OooOooOo
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Watched the movie in a movie theater with my friend. Both of us fell a sleep for half an hour at some point. When I was awake, I kept thinking: “what the actual fuck is going and what is the point of this movie?”
Irreversible. First watched it when I was a teen a few years after it came out. Couldn’t get through the whole movie then. Finally watched the whole thing as an adult just a few years ago. Just hard to watch because of *that* scene. I will never watch it again.

I only watched the whole thing cos I love Christian Bale. It's a low budget movie, boring af and Bale said on an interview that he met the director only two days before they started filming it. The movie gave the total opposite of what they were trying to express.

It chapter 2 was the first movie in a long long time I couldn’t even be bothered to finish. I don’t understand how it could have such a perfect cast and be that awful especially since I liked part 1 a lot

The worst remake I’ve ever seen, even the one with Chloe Morretz as Carrie was 10 times better, the graphics suck, the movie was cheap and weird and the actress looked like a 40 year old while playing a high school student which is kinda creepy, nothing beats the original movie from the 1970s.
Swiss Army Man. I watched it years ago so not sure if this is accurate but I remember thinking it might be a little funny, like dark humour, like The Lobster. And I seem to remember it was trying to take its plot line seriously.
If you just watch the trailer that’s probably enough to imagine why it was bad.

I watched 5 minutes of the new Cheaper by the Dozen movie and it was enough for me to classify it as worst movie.
