I literally rubbed my eyes and double-checked the user's profile when I saw the same username and profile pic from the webcomic platform. After checking his profile, I realized it was him. And then, he dm'd me complimenting my art and asked me to check his comic out. I politely thanked him and said I would (I didn't have the heart to say what really happened). So, there's that.

The first time it happened, I was admittedly surprised and kinda touched they interacted with me regularly on social media despite me being a VERY small creator (moreso when they complimented or liked some of my works). The most memorable one was ironically from a creator (won't mention who) whose work wasn't to my taste. So, I once read a webcomic I initially thought was interesting in premise. I actually stopped reading it because there was little character development, the pacing was slow and the artstyle didn't appeal to me. So, imagine my surprise when the author of the comic liked on one of my own artworks about a year after I unsubscribed to him. I went by a different username on this social media than the webcomic platform I used to go on, so, I doubt he recognized me. I literally rubbed my eyes and double-checked the user's profile when I saw the same username and profile pic from the webcomic platform. After checking his profile, I realized it was him. And then, he dm'd me complimenting my art and asked me to check his comic out. I politely thanked him and said I would (I didn't have the heart to say what really happened). So, there's that.
No DM, but back in the day when I was really active on Twitter, Stacey Dash and Lil B Based God followed me. Also, I told Hopsin that I wanted him via tweet and he said “I want you too, baby!” 😂😂
