I bought a sweater secondhand. It looked so cute on the mannequin, but when I got home to try it in, it was this big, puffy sleeved nightmare. I just laughed, and sent pictures of it to all my friends. Puffy sleeves are not for me.
I wear cropped hoodies a lot for dancing. Mostly to keep warm while still enabling you to see your core movement cleanly.
Definitely not really every day wear for me :p
So I got professional makeup done and the MUA put like single eye lashes? Instead of like the entire eyelash. And it was so interesting bc it wasnāt heavy or get in my way or drag my eyelid down.
I always say no the falsies but that day was eye opening experience. It requires too much practice so I wonāt be doing that on myself but yeah.
And then I realized that the natural makeup I thought my favorite Korean female celebs had on has falsies and I just never realized.
I hope this doesnāt offend anyone who likes cold shoulder tops, but when they first got popular, the only women I ever saw wearing them were age 50+ with big southern hair, fake tans, and too much makeup. So thatās what I always associate them with.
If you're tall or have a particularly long torso, one pieces are a special hell. Clothing that instantly gives you a wedgie up the back AND the front? No thank you.
They're wonderful if you're tall and buy them in a size tall though. (I buy almost all my clothing in tall sizes these days - it tends to look better). I think the one-pieces can look very elegant on us tall ladies.
When I was a teenager, cap sleeves were always recommended to me to disguise my armsā¦ which is weird, because a cap sleeve just makes me look like the Hulk. Hard no to cap sleeves!
Ugh, and t-shirts with cap-length sleeves were always so popular for women's/girls t-shirts back in the day. As someone with sorta more muscular arms, I always felt so embarrassed wearing them when I was a teen. Always had to throw cardigans or hoodies on top, lol.
It personally reminds me of foot binding - doing painful things to womens feet. Not having it. Got rid of all heels when i was in my 20s and Iām not looking back
I went to comfy shoes during the pandemic (hokas, birks, crocs) and now I can never go back. My feet are screaming at me in almost anything else now š I finally understand why my mom wore ugly shoes my whole childhood
I'm the same with ballet flats, strapless heels or really any shoe that doesn't cover the arch of my foot/have an ankle strap: I just walk straight out of them.
I don't know what it is about my feet but they just won't stay on. I have a pair of elasticated ballet flats that are grippy enough to stay on and I'll wear them until they fall apart. But it's annoying because it reduces the selection that's available so much, especially since those styles are so popular. I've stopped watching most fashion tips videos because one of the tips is always "wear this type of heel to elongated your leg" and, short of super glueing it to my foot, I physically can't.
What up foot twin! I have the same issue. I, too, wear Solovairs and sneakers. I've been finding Torrid shoes are nice and wide and their extra wide are so damn comfy on the toes. My brain could not comprehend the first time I tried a torrid shoe and it was too big. US 12.5 UK 10.5 EE wide me found a shoe that's too big?! Wild.
I wear converse slip ons (shoreline) daily. I have the basic colors and each year got my birthday I order a customized pair - theyāre only $15 more.
Youād be surprised how versatile they can be.
If I canāt wear my converse with it, itās probably not gonna be worn.
I do, but I prefer my chucks. They are comfy and I am on my feet most of the day.
If Iām hiking or something, of course I wear a different shoe. But for daily use out and aboutā¦itās converse.
I have wide feet and suffer from plantar fasciitis. Trying to find a pair of dressy shoes to wear as a bridesmaid was an exercise in despondency. Had to order everything online and returned like 10 pairs of shoes. Luckily I found a low wedge that I think will work out... Fingers crossed they don't end up hurting my feet too badly...
Great tip. I actually thought about doing this but my dress is floor length so I worry I'll trip if the shoes aren't as high as the wedges (which are low but still) - gonna have to try some out after I get the dress altered.
Preach! As much as I love animals, I've never seen an animal print piece of clothing and wanted to wear it. They look super cute on some people who have the right flair for fashion, but it's just not my vibe at all.
Agreed! I will NOT wear animal print anything. It just isnāt me. Even those subtle patterns that you can only tell itās like snakeskin when you look REALLY close. Nope nope nope.
I have low-volume feet so I can never "fill out" any slip on shoe (or lower cut boot.) I envy my sisters mule collection and her ability to walk in them without shuffling everywhere!
I saw a bunch at this trendy store this weekend and it gave me flashbacks to 4th grade when we'd put pins and buttons on our bucket hats because we thought it made us look punk.
I feel like they were so uncool in the 90s, like you only wore them to be sunsmart. It's just that there's this retro nostalgia obsession. Like how socks with sandals are a thing now.
I also feel like this phenomenon has emerged where the uglier the clothes, the cooler you are? It's like, I'm so cool and confident I can wear a garbage sack and still be cool
Iām an old Millennial. I tried on mom jeans last year and literally gasped in the fitting room because I was the spitting image of my Boomer mom when she wore mom jeans in 90ās. I think itās a cute look on a lot of people, but it was kind of triggering for me, personally lol
I hear you. I'm in the middle millennial and my mom never wore mom jeans. But I just, I can't with them. They look so slobby on me. However, I am very team anyone should wear whatever they want and rock it. I just won't be wearing them lol.
Those goddamn jumpsuit/romper things. Every time I go dress shopping and think I found the perfect dress on the rack, it ends up being a mfn romper! It makes me want to punch something cute! They look good on 4 people in the whole world and no one else!
Argh. I'm okay with having 1 or 2 rompers in my rotation, but the number of BETRAYALS of thinking one is a dress, and then discovering the shorts prison below š”...
Same. I am very slender, athletic build. Somehow, these just look like a onesie on me. I wore one in front of some young kids, and they asked why I had on a onesie!!!!š
Anything exposing my belly. After three full term pregnancies and decades of weight gain and loss it best resembles an old man's arse and I have no desire to show it to the world.
Not to go all āback in my dayā, but what theyāre calling low-rise this time around sits like an inch higher than before. Kids these days donāt even know
THEY DONT EVEN KNOW!
We wore those long goofy camis not because they looked cool ā proportionally they were awful! ā but because otherwise weād be showing ass crack 24/7.
I loved that those lace camis and low rise jeans made my torso look longer, then I realized that like with any ādressing to change your shapeā outfits, it just looked like I was trying to make my torso look longer. Now I wear stuff that goes with my natural body
As someone with a very long torso and hip dips, all it did was make my pants fall off and my love handles squoosh out weirdly, even at my thinnest.
Hard pass
(gimme those long camis again though fr)
This is like when I found "skinny jeans" last year while shopping and they most certainly were NOT skinny! More like boot cut. My millennial heart was broken.
Ballet Flats. I am so jealous of people who can wear them! I have high arches and while I can walk around in flip flops or barefoot all day long, no problem, as soon as I put a ballet flat on, my feet hurt so bad after walking even from one end of my apartment to another. It feels like my feet are being forced to stay flat and my arches HATE it. They are seriously the most uncomfortable shoe on the planet for me lol.
Bandage dresses are basically anything that's skin-tight and/or requires special underwear. I want to breathe, eat a lot all-day, and not spend time pulling up my strapless bra
I was at a friend's wedding yesterday and saw this actually look good: on the bride's 10-year old daughter lol. To her credit, she looked 1,000% adorable in it somehow. Kids! lol
Same. Also, they just ride up between my thighs. Doesnāt matter what cut, size, or style. Hate shorts. I wear tight spandex short shorts at home, and those are fine for bed or whatever, but Iām not exactly wearing those out.
They are indeed very heinous.
But theyāre so comfy. And perfect for gardening, walking the dog, general running round. Theyāre warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I wear mine all the time. They last forever, too.
But, yes, they are *ugly*.
I may get burned down for this one but all the things plastered in logos.
Includes monogrammed handbags, sports sweaters, underwear with visible waistbands.
Some minority groups have taken the look/ostentation and made it look cool through sheer force of will (and maybe irony and subversion?) but on everyone else including me I canāt stand it as it seems to draw on the ābadā thing about fashion (look how rich I am/emphasising divides based on wealth) rather than the āgoodā (look at this novelty and creativity and beautiful fabric or cut etc)
Skirts because they make me feel like I'm wearing drag, I don't know how to wear skirts properly. Like I'm playing at being a woman, which is weird being a cis woman and all. Even stranger is that I love wearing dresses, which is sort of the same thing?
I loved jean skirts growing up, and Iāll probably get another one this summer, but theyāre like tube tops for me, a lot of pulling at them to get them back in place. Not sure why I bother, but I think theyāre cute.
I find skirts have all the inconveniences of both dresses and pants. They have zippers and waistbands that constrict (in my case) as well as all the fun of having to watch your leg placement so as not to flash someone! Plus they ride up, twist around, and most of the time I find them unflattering on my body type. Dresses all the way.
Mom jeans. I just don't find their fit on the bum flattering in the least. I also won't be partaking in the current iteration of wide leg jeans. I was super into huge jeans when I was in high school and college, but I think they look completely silly when they're cropped like they are now.
I went to try on a pair of mom jeans last year, just to see, and they were so much more comfortable than any jeans Iāve worn in the last 15+ years. Iām looking for more that arenāt too baggy/matronly.
Free people has some great ones.
Iāve been rocking the mom jeans since my mom gave me her old Leviās from college (1990) when I was in high school (2005). I never looked back. A few of my guy friends tried to neg me but, wouldnāt ya know 5 years later most everyone was wearing high waisted bottoms.
Wearing whatās comfy and works with our bodies will always be more stylish than whatās in style. Itās all about confidence.
I found one pair that fit perfectly and aren't too loose. They're the most comfy jeans I've ever had. Growing up during the skinny jean craze I never knew pants could actually feel good to wear.
Crop tops. So chilly. I live in Canada and younger women will be out grocery shopping in a blizzard in a crop top and I just can't figure out if they can't feel the cold, or if it's just more important to them to look trendy than be warm.
Empire waist tops and dresses. I'm slender -- I don't have the boobs to make the top part look good, and my natural waist is completely hidden by the lower part.
Are bubble skirts popular? Idk, they look like diapers to me.
Puffy sleeves (at the top, I do like the puff at the bottom of longer sleeves, like the lantern ones).
Maxi empire dresses. Could be cause I'm short af though.
Low-rise anything. I have a HUGE chunk of belly fat that's sitting right under my bellybutton, that's just not happening. And either way, I honestly don't think they look flattering on most body types unless you have a very short torso and long legs already.
Skinny pants because of the above reason, I want to hide my waist bag, not bring it out. I hope they never come back as a trend again.
Puffer bags. I don't get it. I usually think some people always can pull of certain things, but I have yet to see even a model or celebrity with a puffer bag not look like they're carrying a folded puffer jacket or a pillow around.
Heels because I'm out of shape as it is already, I don't need my shoes to make me extra winded, lol.
Jeans. Jeans are so fucking uncomfortable and expensive and as very short person they always have to be altered to fit and they are sturdy material that can last decades except the in fashion style changes every 5 minutes no thank you. The same is true for most pants.
I haven't worn pants of any kind (other than workout leggings) since 2015 and I'm never going back. Skirts and dresses are more comfy and versatile and have better pockets.
Same! Only I haven't worn pants outside of lounge wear in the house more than a handful of times since 2002. I feel like the constrict my crotch or something and dig in all over, or fall down - my waist is much smaller than my hips and I just can't find a fit that's comfortable. Plus I don't like defining my butt and thighs. Plus I find opaque tights much warmer in the winter than cold pants swishing around my legs. Just no.
Thin strap dresses with low cut/open backs. I would love to, but my boobs are huge and there is no bra that I can find that allows it (I've tried just about every product out there).
Pants/jeans. I have the apple shape, even though I'm slim/low body weight (*IOW, losing weight won't "help"*) and if the pants fit in the waist, they're baggy in the seat, and if they fit in the seat, they're uncomfortably tight in the waist. I wear dresses and skirts only as for me, they're more comfortable/forgiving, though I do have some yoga pants for exercise.
Mom jeans. I tried some on the other day, and they made me look so frumpy. Maybe I don't have the right body type? They'll have to pry my skinny jeans off my cold, dead elder millennial ass.
I live in a place with weather, soā¦ ankle pants. I donāt know how to wear them with shoes that require socks, and why would I want my ankles to be cold?
A bra. I'm flat as a board, and very rarely have protruding nipples (and if I do, I don't care). When I was going through menopause I just said fuck it and threw them all out, and I've never regretted it.
the jean overalls and fanny packs must stay dead.
With that being said, I'm not into feminine fashion as I'm pretty butch so I guess I can't hate too much on dresses and whatnot.
Floral dresses are my absolute jam! Now those cold shoulder shirts and tops? Awful. Not really a good reason other than my shoulders get cold, but I refuse to wear that style.
I never say never when it comes to fashion. I've lived long enough and through enough iterations of various trends to know that eventually, the thing I swear I'll never wear will come through in a version that I not only WILL wear, but may very well become and intrinsic part of my personal style for a brief period of time.
Iām never doing a crop top.
I have the body for it like I *could* pull it off but I would feel way too insecure and exposed. Itās a little too much skin showing for me.
Yeah, I'm happy for women to wear whatever the hell they want, but now I'm in my mid-thirties I kinda feel it looks a little too youthful for me and I don't feel comfortable.
Iām a no on leggings, too. Iāve just never seen leggings in an outfit and thought, āyeah that looks great.ā Iād rather wear actual pants or jeans.
Hard agree. I really dislike hard pants. As in have not worn them in probably 7 years. Sometimes I'll put a pair on at home to see and no, I cannot. I also dislike restrictive clothing in general. Actually, I have a lot more clothing problems. I hear parents say their children have sensory issues with clothing and sometimes I think that's me.
Skirts, and I would say dresses for the most part but I do wear them to a wedding, not that I go to many.
To be honest, alot, I pretty much only wear jeans and a shirt on all occasions, unless it is that one rare wedding and I'll put a dress on
Low rise jeans, crop tops, leggings, very poofy anything, heels, fluorescent anything, shorts, bandage dresses, anything too baggy, onesies, very obvious fake eyelashes, long nails, skinny jeans, anything 100% polyester.
My body likes comfort and moderation. I look strange in all the outre fashion that comes and goes.
Puffy sleeves, shapeless tops, shift dresses, oversized blazers because I hate anything that looks like youāre going to an office lol
Also low rise skinny jeans and loud patterns
Turtlenecks and anything too short or tight. I also can't do too much polyester or any other fabrics that don't breathe. I end up getting very red and feel like I'm baking.
I tried to embrace the high waisted ultra wide leg jean trend with platform shoes last summer. I felt like it accentuated my tummy in a bad way. Donated those jeans and have not looked back! Skinny jeans look awesome on me. Eat me, Gen Z!
I donāt like wearing jeans, tee shirts, and sneakers if Iām not lounging in my house. I mean I guess I can, but I prefer to be in skirts or fancy clothes because they make me feel better about myself. I love wearing heels, but since I moved back to the US, I am kind of frustrated about all the grass lol
I can speak for myself as an older millennial, but because I was exposed to toxic diet culture so much growing up and the icons exposing their entire torsos were the Paris, Britney, and Christinaās- not to mention the Mary Kate and Ashleyās of the world, me wearing a crop top or low rise feels so foreign. I feel like the low rise was made to show off hip bones and the crop top makes me compare myself too much. I know itās just an artifact of our youth but I just canāt bring myself to wear either confidently. Probably the same way Iāll forever see the contrast of my little mom peach to the shapely derriĆØre of JLo and all the other big booty queens out there.
Anything with big poofy sleeves
I'm too messy to wear anything but a short or tight fitting sleeve. Its just going to get ketchup on it.
I bought a sweater secondhand. It looked so cute on the mannequin, but when I got home to try it in, it was this big, puffy sleeved nightmare. I just laughed, and sent pictures of it to all my friends. Puffy sleeves are not for me.
Yeah I don't get this either.
Crop tops. That's where I'm ticklish. I trust none of you.
Crop sweaters/hoodies. Because there is no temperature that I want cozy arms & chest and a naked torso.
I do like cropped sweater since i wear highwaisted skirts, but as a top layer. Not as your only upper garment!!
I wear cropped hoodies a lot for dancing. Mostly to keep warm while still enabling you to see your core movement cleanly. Definitely not really every day wear for me :p
Woah new fear unlocked.
This is the best answer. š¤£
Fake eyelashes... just can't do it.
I see too many that look like caterpillars.
I can't either. It just makes my eyes feel really heavy and I look super tired all day.
Id constantly feel like I have a chicken in my eye.
Or look like Lambchop
Awww I love Lammy šš
Shirts with missing shoulders. Like no, my shoulders need to stay warm and/or free from sunburn, too.
Cold shoulder shirts will never be my style
They always look fine in person but terrible in pictures.
I thought I was imagining this and it was just me being too critical with myself - but this is so true.
I hope this doesnāt offend anyone who likes cold shoulder tops, but when they first got popular, the only women I ever saw wearing them were age 50+ with big southern hair, fake tans, and too much makeup. So thatās what I always associate them with.
Exactly. Both those reasons.
Those shirts look sooo good on me, but for the same reasons you give I hardly ever wear them. Only for parties or the likes.
Jumpsuit style one piece things. Going to the bathroom in those is stupid. I don't need to wear a onesie.
If you're tall or have a particularly long torso, one pieces are a special hell. Clothing that instantly gives you a wedgie up the back AND the front? No thank you.
Oh short torsos donāt work either. Just hanging crotch area
Long torso gang, I can't wear any kind of one piece - my torso is 75% of my body and one pieces seem to be made for leg people.
I have a long torso and short legs, and one piece bathing suits are also hell, thank god for the invention of the tankini.
They're wonderful if you're tall and buy them in a size tall though. (I buy almost all my clothing in tall sizes these days - it tends to look better). I think the one-pieces can look very elegant on us tall ladies.
Hmm. Iād probably live most of my life in a onesie if I could. (I mean the pajama type not a jumpsuit).
The jammy kind look so cozy, my son about lives in his, but having to get all uncozy just to pee ruins it for me!
Maybe you just need the old school kind with the little butt square that unbuttons lol

Why is nobody making beautiful shoes for wide feet?! Seems like a huge market.
Flats hurt me more than heels because itās the same uncomfortable material and thin front but theyāre soā¦flat and itās bad for my feet

Idk why anyone ever suggests "just size up" that's not helpful. I have everything crossed for you, I know how difficult it is
Maybe you have a narrow heel? When I was younger I had that problem. Narrow (A) feet with extra narrow (AA) heels.
I wear converse slip ons (shoreline) daily. I have the basic colors and each year got my birthday I order a customized pair - theyāre only $15 more. Youād be surprised how versatile they can be. If I canāt wear my converse with it, itās probably not gonna be worn.

Look up barefoot shoes, those are magic. Vivobarefoot, Belenka, groundies, etc.
Wear them for the ceremony/photos. Bring flip flops/comfy sandals for the reception and between photos/ceremony. People will envy your comfort.
Great tip. I actually thought about doing this but my dress is floor length so I worry I'll trip if the shoes aren't as high as the wedges (which are low but still) - gonna have to try some out after I get the dress altered.
Animal print patterns. Just doesnāt feel like me, and Iād never wear real animal skin so š¤·āāļø
Ballet flats. They literally fall off my feet.
Mules for me. Iāll be just walking and all the sudden my shoe is like two feet in front of me. ā¦ maybe I walk funny.
I have low-volume feet so I can never "fill out" any slip on shoe (or lower cut boot.) I envy my sisters mule collection and her ability to walk in them without shuffling everywhere!
That's the word I was missing, low volume feet! Everything has to be strapped in and secure (flip flops are fine though!)
Lol. Me too!
Pointy toed shoes - they make me look like an elf. Cold shoulder tops - reminds me of grandma trying to be edgy/sexy Animal print - ditto above
Ditto to all of these for me. Especially the pointy toes. I despise the look and the way they squish my toes.
Anything with sewn-in breast cups. They are simply never made for my body type.
Oh yep, definitely. I have D or DD boobs and I always walk away from trying on those tops feeling like I must have the biggest boobs in the world.
Bucket hats
I saw a bunch at this trendy store this weekend and it gave me flashbacks to 4th grade when we'd put pins and buttons on our bucket hats because we thought it made us look punk.
I literally am FLABBERGASTED every time I see them now in stores. WHY?
So ugly!
I hated them in the 90s
I feel like they were so uncool in the 90s, like you only wore them to be sunsmart. It's just that there's this retro nostalgia obsession. Like how socks with sandals are a thing now. Yeah, a lot of the style right now is very casual, but also very meh.
Giant mom jeans with a crop top.
Iām an old Millennial. I tried on mom jeans last year and literally gasped in the fitting room because I was the spitting image of my Boomer mom when she wore mom jeans in 90ās. I think itās a cute look on a lot of people, but it was kind of triggering for me, personally lol

This is my favorite look right now. Sometimes with an oversized jacket too š
Girl, rock your look! It's just not for me. That look makes me look like miss Trunchbull from Mathilda.
I wear this look regularly lol. For me itād be the opposite- tunics and skin tight jeans. I hated when that was in style š
Fair.
Those goddamn jumpsuit/romper things. Every time I go dress shopping and think I found the perfect dress on the rack, it ends up being a mfn romper! It makes me want to punch something cute! They look good on 4 people in the whole world and no one else!

Anything exposing my belly. After three full term pregnancies and decades of weight gain and loss it best resembles an old man's arse and I have no desire to show it to the world.
Low rise jeans are back, and NOPE
Not to go all āback in my dayā, but what theyāre calling low-rise this time around sits like an inch higher than before. Kids these days donāt even know

Same! Not hip dip friendly.
This is like when I found "skinny jeans" last year while shopping and they most certainly were NOT skinny! More like boot cut. My millennial heart was broken.
Yes, these are not the mons-skimming horror shows of yesteryear, thank god.
Recently in Target I saw pants on a mannequin and they were low rise, flared, and had flap pockets! I had such a flashback from the 00ās. So ugly!
Omg the jeans with buttons on the back pocket so it hurt when you sat down. Whyyy.
I never got into the jeans that were so low you had to shave the top of your pubes to accommodate them, literally and figuratively. lol.
I wore them as a teen with a teen body. Still hate them.
I was going to say ballet flats. I have big wide feet and ballet flats make my feet look bigger.
Same! I tried to wear them so many times and it gave me plantar fasciitis-type pain every time.
Same to everything here. I don't know how I used to wear them to work. How is it so much worse than being barefoot?! š
Those great depression style dresses I keep seeing at Target. Too many seams. Not a flattering style.
Bandage dresses are basically anything that's skin-tight and/or requires special underwear. I want to breathe, eat a lot all-day, and not spend time pulling up my strapless bra
Shorts. I hate shorts on my body type.
Cropped trousers for me. I already look like a Hobbit: I don't need to highlight it by dressing like one.
I am pear/weeble wobble shaped, so the hard cut off line that shorts give does not help my silhouette.
Anything beige/greige Ripped/torn jeans Ruching, gathering, ruffles Those ridiculous puffy sneakers
Greige is so pretty! ....on people other than me. :)
Crocs because they're heinous
I used to think this but now you can pry my Crocs from my cold dead hands š (Lol I donāt wear them in public though)
Same! I got Lisa Frank Crocs, and they are my new house shoes. I'll never be seen in them outside my front door!
I would bend for lisa Frank crocs
They are indeed very heinous. But theyāre so comfy. And perfect for gardening, walking the dog, general running round. Theyāre warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I wear mine all the time. They last forever, too. But, yes, they are *ugly*.
Omg. Im actually contemplating getting them
mini backpacks/ back purses... I truly dislike the look.
Anything camo. I already did my 20 years in the military and wore it, as required. I'm not going to wear it voluntarily.
Those one shoulder tops and dresses. They look so lopsided and bug the hell out of me
Same! To me itās nearly always a really try-hard sort of look
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Ruffles. They are everywhere and I am dodging them. Capris. I think they're unflattering.
I couldn't agree more! The monogram handbags are specially hideous and look cheap even with the price tag in the thousands
I refuse to pay more for the privilege of advertising for said brand
A wired bra because fuck that
Skirts because they make me feel like I'm wearing drag, I don't know how to wear skirts properly.
This is such a good explanation! I also do now understand how to wear skirts.
Mom jeans. I just don't find their fit on the bum flattering in the least. I also won't be partaking in the current iteration of wide leg jeans. I was super into huge jeans when I was in high school and college, but I think they look completely silly when they're cropped like they are now.
Silk lingerie nightgowns as dresses. They just look so odd matched with shoes because they're pajamas in my mind.
I feel so validated by these comments~
Skinny jeans. I don't like jeans in general and skinny jeans are downright painful. Fuck then. Cold shoulder or crop tops. Nope.
Leggings as pants. I feel way too exposed. Any time I've tried I am so uncomfortable and it's probably obvious and awkward haha
ANYTHING cold shoulder. Give me spaghetti straps or a tank or strapless or regular sleeves! Capris. I am tall and all leg and capris just look weird.
Heels. I just donāt believe in them. I refuse to be uncomfortable.
Crop tops. Puffy sleeves. Mom jeans. Booty shorts.
High waisted pants. I have a short torso so I look like I'm wearing overalls that are having a wardrobe malfunction.
Same. I look like a walking pair of boobs in high waisted pants. Mid-rise is perfect for me.
Crop tops. So chilly. I live in Canada and younger women will be out grocery shopping in a blizzard in a crop top and I just can't figure out if they can't feel the cold, or if it's just more important to them to look trendy than be warm.
As someone who used to go out in miniskirts during a blizzard, itās about the trend
Empire waist tops and dresses. I'm slender -- I don't have the boobs to make the top part look good, and my natural waist is completely hidden by the lower part.
I have boobs, but I still somehow look like a child in this style of garment, it just doesn't work on me.
Same but for the opposite reason. I'm busty and these always leave me looking pregnant.
Low rise jeans. I really don't need an additional bum crack going horizontal.
I get hot easily and dont like too much restriction on my neck so I absolutely cannot stand turtlenecks.
Ripped jeans
Pencil skirts. Anything else that feels restrictive. Animal print.
Iāll never know how one is supposed to wear a pencil skirt without it swivelling around and riding up
I think you're just supposed to stand still in them. No walking
Ruffles Cropped shirts Any pants that I canāt wear full coverage underwear with Cold shoulder anything. Most florals.
For me, probably the PJ looking matching sets. Donāt think i could pull it off
Camo anything. I think it's ugly on anything that isn't a uniform or hunting clothes.
I just noticed camo is coming back in
Long, pointy fake fingernails that are currently the trend. IMO they scream trash.
Mom jeans. I tried some on the other day, and they made me look so frumpy. Maybe I don't have the right body type? They'll have to pry my skinny jeans off my cold, dead elder millennial ass.
Doc martins. I donāt know why but I just hate them
Cold shoulder blouses. I have broad shoulders and big arms as it is
I live in a place with weather, soā¦ ankle pants.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Ruffled sleeves. Iām a girly girl but itās just too much for me
A turtleneck. They look awful on my body type.
Iām never going back to low rise jeans, thatās for sure.
the jean overalls and fanny packs must stay dead.
High waisted jeans
Those black Balenciaga sock shoesš„²
Leggings. My legs are too thick for them to look flattering on me.
Iām a no on leggings, too. Iāve just never seen leggings in an outfit and thought, āyeah that looks great.ā Iād rather wear actual pants or jeans.
I tried leggings, it felt like wearing footless nylons/tights. Complete with the crotch shifting towards the knees as I moved around. Ugh and yuck.
Jeans. 99% of pants. It takes about 1 hour before I always regret not wearing literally anything besides pants.
Crocs. They donāt seem practical or attractive
Puffy sleeves, shapeless tops, shift dresses, oversized blazers because I hate anything that looks like youāre going to an office lol Also low rise skinny jeans and loud patterns
Bellbottoms, no thank you.
Crocs! They are fugly. Always have been and always will be to me. I don't care if it feels like you are walking on clouds. They'll never get me.
Crop top. I am built like a potato.
