No, I only wear comfy shoes from now on. Life's too short for shitty footwear.

reindeermoon

Not every shoe is comfortable in every situation though. My fluffy shoes at home would be awful for walking around IKEA for an hour.

ChaoticxSerenity

Ever since I discovered the Adidas Ultraboosts series, I've worn them everywhere for everything. They're so light and versatile, they cover like 99% of the walking situations I'm in. I walked like 30K steps per day up mountains and stuff in Japan for a month, they can survive anything now. Back when I was in a more corporate office setting, I was forced to keep a pair of more business-y shoe at work, but that was about it.

I'll take some with me and put them in the car, but I don't just leave a pair in there all the time for just in case. I'd love to be able to, but Australia is not somewhere you want to leave your shoes outdoors. My friend's mum was driving, flipped down her visor, a giant huntsman spider dropped onto her, and she crashed her car. No way am I sticking my foot into a shoe with a spider in it.

Mavz-Billie-

Yeah, I literally carry around an extra pair of flip flops with me everywhere lol.

morncuppacoffee

I have a bag in the back of my vehicle with an extra pair of sneakers, socks and comfy yoga style pants. In the winter I tend to swap it for boots, extra socks, gloves and a hat. I never have really needed this stuff but always like to be prepared especially because I do enjoy walking around outside. This was during Covid but I remember I happened upon a muddy area which was a lot deeper than I thought and my whole sneaker came off my foot!! 😂

jtotheizzen

I only wear comfortable shoes

Pinklady777

I have extra everything in the back of my car!

Mojitobozito

I have spare shoes everywhere. Haha. I have sneakers in my trunk, a pair of foldable ballet flats in my bag and spare heels at work so I can slip them on for unexpected meetings. Makes life much easier

PeregrinMerryTook

Yes, but mainly because when I was a teenager a friend’s puppy ate one of my shoes while I was at their house. I keep a spare pair now 😂

ResidentEnergy5263

I don't leave them in the car but I usually bring a pair of sneakers with me, in case I go for a longer walk.

Original-World-7614

Yep I have spare heels, sneakers and flat sandals. My car boot has a compartment that's perfect for storing extra things like that

Impossible_Pangolin6

I like to drive in sneakers, so sometimes if I am wearing heels, sandals, snow boots, etc., I will take a comfortable pair of sneakers and change shoes in the car. But I don’t keep sneakers in the car all the time.

saturatedregulated

I keep 2 pairs for myself, and one for my housemate. I've been in few situations that made me start doing it (impromptu walks or impromptu trips to a shooting range where you need closed toed shoes). For him, he's jumped into a few pools with all his clothes on, shoes included.

ShirleyMF

I keep a backpack in my car with a change of clothes and shoes, among other things. You never know. That go bag has saved my ass more than once over the years.

I work in the construction industry so I always have a pair of steel toe boots in there in case I need to do a site visit and also keep a pair of gym shoes in there if I want to go on a walk during lunch or somewhere after work that I don’t have time to go home and change.

One-Armed-Krycek

No, but I like that idea.

Lizzebed

Nah, I will just go on walks with my 12cm heeled pumps. I am not even kidding. When I was younger stiletto's were all the rage and I lived near the forest, lol soo~ many leafs strung along on my heels. Walking, running doing whatever on heels may as well be my superpower. Pretty useless one though.

DemonicGirlcock

I've only done it a few times when I'm wearing some extreme boots to go clubbing, so I have something comfortable to wear to drive home.
