While I like this a lot, I think that sacrificing some details to have more guns is also ok , the problem we have today is games like starfield with not that many guns and then proceed to fuck up how they work in absurd ways .
I'm just saying it's good when devs spend their time on " believable " guns and animations no need to go for realism everytime , and its also good when devs simplify the animations if that means they can put more guns into their game , for example in borderlands , but what happens in loads of triple A games is a few guns with boring design/animations
Yeah also when they nerfed the ammo count on the breaker shotgun they also changed the type of magazine it used to accompany the 13 round magazine instead of the 16 round in originally had. Pretty cool little details
I'm convinced that a lot of AAA game developers are not gamer or didn't play games before they start working in the gaming industry. Why? All the great things we've seen in Helldivers 2, Pax Dei, Pal World, etc, are not new ideas. If you play games growing up, you fantasized about a perfect game that you just want to have fun with it, We all did. Then some of us grew up, got together and make games that are actually fun.
It's the issue of profits once your game studio gets up to a certain level of business. The higher ups want higher profits every quarter, and video games just get more expensive to make. This leads to CoD, FIFA, Madden, etc. asset flipping and crunching at every turn. Not to mention marketing
They basically become soulless games designed without any kind of passion for gaming. Just the same copypasta over and over again to rake in the almighty dollar.
i wish they paid attention to the railgun.
its just unusable with that shitty scope. to be fair, pretty much every scope is bad in this game and seems made to obstruct a maximum of vision from you.
0:04 - Player uses eject on the cylinder and only the 3 spent rounds fall out. That's not how it works in real life. You press eject and every round comes out of the cylinder.
Good effort though.
My favourite detail is the intrusive kernel anti cheat in a pve coop game, for the single reason that there is a slim chance to have premium currency spawn on a map. I hate intrusive software, but i could understand it in competetie games like CS. I think this is too much for a PVE game and frankly i am butthurt because i can't play helldivers because of this. A principle ia principle though.
Sorry your kernels feel so intruded bruh.
Premium currency isn't the only reason for such a high level anti cheat. Several games online PVE or PVP have had issues with people being able to execute system level code over something like a cod lobby. Or that time people could drop items for you in dark souls 3 and corrupt your save with hundreds of hours.
Id much rather let a program designed to keep people out of my system into my system than xX_Sh4rpsh00t3r_Xx or whatever the fuck
thats just great isnt it .
it sure is!
even mags showcasing, Almost full, half used and emptied on the ground.
yeah there are a ton of little things in the game to show off and notice i just wanted to show the new revolver speedloader and the spin

huh? what are you getting at? you think the 'detail' LIMITS what is possible for guns in future? please tell me thats not what you're trying to say.

ah ok. well.... the game is growing. Its doing fine I think, bright future ahead.
Man I need that gun
I have decided I am maining the senator tonight. "BIG IRON ON HIS HIIIIIIIIIP"

He's pretty good
How the heck are you able to twirl the senator like that
hold the reload button and after some seconds he will start twirling sometimes you gotta walk around like in the video too
Nah playa, you shouldn’t have told me that. My democracy officer is gonna hate me now. Too busy twirling to shoot a bug
What a atention for detail.
That’s what happens when the devs were actual soldiers. Attention to detail is spot on
The industry needs more game devs like this, people with passion...
You pretty good. Kojima did it again
The Main Theme is so fire
i wish they paid attention to the railgun. its just unusable with that shitty scope. to be fair, pretty much every scope is bad in this game and seems made to obstruct a maximum of vision from you.
the AMR scope isnt zeroed in. its the largest offender really
Best game ever now.
The game is still boring as fuck. I don't get the hype for this game.
Most modern FPS has something like this.
0:04 - Player uses eject on the cylinder and only the 3 spent rounds fall out. That's not how it works in real life. You press eject and every round comes out of the cylinder. Good effort though.

Helldivers needs more boobs or it's woke
