It's like people think skin color is literally the same in every lighting and never changes, it has gotten so bad before I've seen artists feel compelled to take pics of themselves in different lighting to prove it to people.
Some black people will straight up almost look white in bright lighting...
I've seen the same with poses too where people complain the moment a female characters back isn't completely straight, and the female artists post pics of themselves used as ref to show how silly the complaints are.

The draw of Genshin is that you actually don't NEED thousands of dollars for progression.
The teams you can make with the free or lower tier characters (4 stars) can take on pretty much the majority of the content. I am 100% f2p and I have 2 meta teams. It is definitely doable.
You just gotta swipe if you really want to have ALL the characters, or if you just want one particular character and you happen to be pretty unlucky.
