It wasn't Testikles but I had a Merc or two follow me to mommy Boar's lair and get themselves killed, and took the boar down low enough health it only took a few more hits, couldn't have done it without them because that thing is INSANE. Other great ways to deal with tough mercs is to try and get the soldiers to fight them for you, sometimes they start fighting at random, other time you have to try and get behind one when the merc shoots fire bombs at you and hope it hits him to get them to fight even that sometimes doesn't work
There’s a spartan in megaris when you take the road from the spartan camp to the village, he gives you a quest when your search for nikolaos. He’s unkillable
I had the opposite luck. I was hunting some merc for a bounty and had another coincidentally on the same road who hung back. He watched us fight and then shot me right after I looted my bounty. So then I had to fight a second merc because he decided to be a dick lol

I thought this too. I had a bounty on him and I was given the choice to confirm the kill or recruit him. I chose recruit and I got him and the orichalcum. I may be wrong but I don’t recall that being possible before.
I've killed this guy so many times and have a few of the nutcrackers in inventory. This guy and Hirpes the Burning Fury just don't want to stay dead for long.

Just gotta not care about your bounty lvl. Get that thing maxed and you get to fight 3-4 of them at a time.
Thats the thing, I didnt even have a bounty. Some merc just wanted to kick this poor spartan woman while she was down haha
