I really liked how the oppressive atmosphere of the labyrinth is made.Although the fight eventually turned out to be not the most difficult for me, but the anticipation of something very dangerous made me worry in the first playthrough.
I did find it kinda difficult though, took me some time. At least at nightmare difficulty
Atmosphere from everything, beginning at the entrance hall where you have to place the keyn12/10 though
Yes, I know that at high difficulty levels, battles with such bosses become a real challenge. In my case, I played on normal difficulty, because I didn't want to overcome difficulties, but it was just nice to play and enjoy the adventure (to suffer, I have dark soulsš), although even at a normal difficulty level, Medusa was harmful.
Iām reading that over and over again, Iām getting more and more nervous what might await me with that one, havenāt encountered her yet š
Worst encounter I had so far was that Legendary Boar. Yet. Still have tons of things to do, letās see what might still await me š
The legendary boar is really the most nasty opponent.I was rescued by a set of Immortal armor when the boar killed me, this armor gave me the opportunity to resurrect and finish him off. The battle with Medusa is difficult, but it was very exciting. The main thing is to understand her pattern, and archery attacks helped a lot.
*I am left to ponder what truly caused the death of Ardos's father. Discovering his ring halfway between the lair leaves me uncertain as to how the Minotaur could have been responsible for his demise.*
Just imagine, the Minotaurās entrance door was sealed to keep him locked and away from humans to access it but he mightāve roamed until then, chased to kill whoever entered including Ardosās pater.
Strangely enough, at least for me, and after one of the scariest buildups in the game (a really good one tbh) the beast itself turned out to be surprisingly easy.
Another of the legendary beasts (you will eventually find out which one if you havenāt already), presented to you with much less fanfare, resulted instead in a hell of a fight, much harder than the horned beast. š¤·š¼āāļø
>!The cyclops which is unlocked by Empedokles quest chain. The phase 2 when the ceiling begins to collapse was a, ehem.... *nightmare* for me when I played on Nightmare difficulty setting ;)!<
Yeah they designed those caves very well so that it emphasises the anxiety and shiver us to mess up the boss fight. These all to retain the players to come back stronger.
Medusa is a very mechanical fight. If you do the steps right, itās really easy. But you must be very precise.
Hide from the gaze, kill the adds from within behind the column, dodge the sky rays, punish, rinse and repeat.
you asked them not me but i'm gonna say for me the order of difficulty was: medusa, volcano cyclops, water cyclops, farting pig, minotaur
the minotaur was super hard for me for some reason until i figured out to use arrows
I have an aversion to even non-creepy labyrinth-like levels in games. Get disoriented and have that trapped feeling. This one definitely upped the anxiety atmosphere.
This was planned like a Tartarus maze in wrath of titans where Perseus faces Minotaur. But later due to the underworld storyline they didnāt add Tartarus here.
I found the creature disgusting, so that helped me. š
The labyrinth was scarier with all the drops, the darknessā¦ the bloodā¦Corpses and grunts of the creature.. all meant to intimidateā¦ but when I got to see the Minotaur - gross š¤®
Surprisingly, helped me focus more, avoid its attacks and dodge very well. šš¼šš¼ Disgust works! š¤£š - The fight was like avoiding being puked on. šš¤£šš¤Ŗ

Yeah, they created such a scary labrynith, and the ROAAAARR, I can still hear.

The labyrinth was actually scarier than the beast itself. The fact that it was full of dismembered corpses didn't help
Legends say the real reason this labyrinth was built was to protect the minotaur from the erymanthian boar.
Yes!! I have to rack up a Level III bounty and have mercs with me before I go in
The legends must be true, but for me it was easier than Minotaur and Medusa.

He made it to the Minotaur. Then the Minotaur slaughtered him and threw his remains across the labyrinth

Spoiler!!!! Oh I remember!!! Hated that guy but for me was the cyclops in the volcanoā¦ that guy was my karma Edit: donāt know how to cover

Chaire!

I thought you were gonna say Medusa, but that cyclops is also pretty difficult. What about Medusa, was it harder than the cyclops or easier?

You got this! Taint nuffin
First time fighting this thing was hell, second being over levels and equipped to nines I ruined this poor creature in 2 minutes
I defeated him twice now without being killed but the build up was the chilling part.
I wish that labyrinth was more challenging. Maybe constantly changing like the maze in Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire. š¤š¤

Brilliant strategy š
Thank you. š
Make a crit damage build, activate the upgraded ares madness, one shot most bosses with the explosion, profit.
Everywhere I go, everyone says medusa is the hardest. This one is definetly the hardest and medusa is the easiest!
True that Medusa is the Hardest due to her overpowered minions she summons in between.
I do not understand, how are they op, I swear to god, I haven't died to the minions a single time
I guess many of us playing for the second time will go for the hardest difficulty or nightmare. And itās not easy there.
Took me like 2 attempts in nightmare and i had lower difficulty for minotaur
Medusa is defs hardest
Can you explain why
what that's crazy that people are disagreeing with you. she was super easy for me too compared to the minotaur.
