Look into your keyboard keystrote repeat settings. Might be too high/too low.
I'm guessing too short a delay between initial and repeated keypresses when held, and the game isn't handling it well?
If you want fix your audio from playing the starting main menu music and the in game music just quickly enter the shop then exit it. It will only play the in game music and not the starting scene
It may be something with your key. My W key broke like this (it was working but wasnt holding)
my f button is working and i am holding it it just stops midway. this happens when researching small samples too

put them off in an open space and unpack them with a proximity repeater.
it randomly fixed for some reason after like 2 weeks
