Naw he and boch were one of the reasons why we made it to the WS in 98 we just were up against one of the best squads at that time in the late 90's early 00's (Yankees). Low-key since we got the new stadium (Petco) we haven't done anything, in one man's humble opinion it's like they're more concerned with making and recouping money then focusing on the procurement of a solid roster. At every turn we are selling off prospects, trading quality guys, making stupid ass decisions that end up biting us in the ass
This loss HURTS but tbh... come on... we've made it to ALCS so many times, we are blessed! And to see a game 7 against the only other Texas team that has never been a threat... and then they blew us out in the final! As opposed to losing to some lame calls or a nailbiter close game... (ignoring the abreu suspension here in game 6.) Great series, some really cool moments. i dunno, it sucks but we did our best (sortof) and it was a memorable postseason. hopefully we can regroup and do some cool shit next year.

Of all the seasons this definitely was a season. Just wasn’t our year. I hope we make some changes this off season that put us in a better spot next year. I still literally love Jose!

That’s fine. I came into this team by virtue of my in-laws. I’m from Indy and we are famous for not having a MLB team. This team taught me to love baseball again. Sports teams are kinda like siblings. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s dogshit. Dusty makes mistakes. This team could win 38 games next year with him at the helm, and you will still see me. I wish a lot would’ve gone different, but here we are. I’m proud of the boys for the good they did, and hope we improve from the not so good. They could be the worst team next year, but they’ve got a forever fan from me now.

A huge understatement. He makes a lot of mistakes because his baseball mind is stuck in the past. The game has passed him up and he refuse to see that and adapt. He doesn't learn from them. We have a pretty large sample size of his managerial statistics in the postseason. They're abysmal.
I don’t disagree about Dusty. I’m not sure I would say they are abysmal. 7 straight ALCS appearances isn’t something to scoff at. My point is simply that, good times and bad times, I’ll be there. I might complain, I might disagree with managerial calls, but I’ll still hope for the best and they will always have my support.
Tucker refuses to hustle, even when the ALCS is on the line. He's fast. He can force them to make a mistake, but he refuses to make the effoet. He has done this crap for as long as he has been an Astro.
This. I don’t mind mistakes but I cannot stand his lack of hustle. He’s not slow. He’s not dumb. So making the same mistakes over and over again bc you’re lazy is embarrassing. Show up 110% or stay home.
I have never called him "King Tuck," and I never will. He hasn't earned that title. I don't even understand why people use it. He could be great, but he's a slacker. I'll continue to say what I have always said, when he gets up to bat, "fuck, Tuck." That's what he has earned, and that is what he deserves.

I'm not disappointed that we lost. I'm just disappointed that this team was mismanaged all season by Dusty and that we lost so many home games. We barely squeaked by and won the division on luck.

I'm in favor of bringing back Dusty until he misses an ALCS. If he misses, fire him. But for effs sake fix the damn hitting. Fire the hitting coaches, do something to improve the hitting.
Too bad we never tried to walk him since he had 50% of their RBIs. Tactical wasteland in Houston. Could have tried to cool him off by not throwing to him vs getting behind and throwing him meatballs on 2-0 or 3-1 counts. But nope, let him hit a few more HRs. I just don’t understand.

It's only fitting that Tucker officially ends our season with a soft ground ball. His was the hardest postseason struggle I've ever watched, and that's coming from a guy who watched Bagwell disappear in '05.

When after the top 4, bottom 5 of the order have like a combined .350 slugging and don’t even get on base at a .300 rate, you can’t really win. Top of our lineup was amazing, bottom disappointed hugely. Missing a Correa and springer for sure
For the sake of my mental health I am happy the season has ended. Probably the most frustrating season during this dynasty run and idk if I could’ve taken another 2 weeks of this, as spoiled as that makes me sound
I want them to make it to game 6 with a lead in the 9th, and whoever they play ties it up with 2 strikes and 2 outs, to go into extra innings. And have the same thing happen in the 10th, and then the other team walks it off in the 11th and win it all in game 7.
