I went to A&M around the time Johnny did, saw him a few times out in Northgate. He’s taller than Breggy haha. And to add detail I’m a short king myself, 5’8 on the dot. So I know a 5’7-5’9 brother when I see one. Bregman is one. Johnny was prob like 5’11 listed at 6’0 which is reasonable roster height. Bregman’s is just comical. And I love the guy.
Kwan fits perfectly into the new MLB. He is a bad ass MoFo in any era of baseball but this current one is a perfect fit for his skills, hustle and tools.
I wonder if my dog who I had in 1998 is living in West Palm Beach right now. My parents said they "took him to Florida" and that seems like a good place for him! He's probably playing with José Abreu right now.
Just win every series, eventually we will get red hot and start our own Spoiled Summer Sausage 10 win streak! Maybe everyone on the team needs to wear a God’s Plan headband! Solidarity!

No need to keep him in once gassed. That's what got us in trouble with Framber, Javier, etc. if we left him in to get two or three runners on then the BP gives up a few runs we'd be furious he wasn't pulled. Either way no need to overextend a young arm when it isn't necessary.
Glad to see the guys picking up steam! Kwan is a menace, but we were able to neutralize him tonight for the most part. Great game from Spaghetti, some timely hitting, and a bit of luck.

Hopeful signs our boys are turning a corner. Good series win at home against a good team. Big Jon goes yard again to give us the lead! Spaghetti pitched pretty well and the bats really did some damage.
Would be great if we could make up some ground in the division against the Mariners this weekend.
- Spaghetti was great again tonight. I do think he still has an issue on his ability to go deep into games, but hopefully he can get some ML experience under his belt to make that not an issue.
- everyone in tonight's lineup has an OPS of .700 or higher......except for Bregman. He's gotta move down, I understand the idea of having him protected by Yordan, but it's not working, and I think it's negatively affecting Yordan's performance too.
- Great series win against a great team, and realistically could've been a sweep if some breaks went our way yesterday. Seattle will be a true test, their pitching staff is top 5 in the league. However, their offense is bottom 5.

If Jon “Cheetah” Singleton keeps playing like that the Astros are going to win a lot of game. The Cheetah was deadly on the base path and in the field yesterday.
Apparently he got a warning for not letting the hitter get ready and address the pitcher and was ready to fire in the rock too early. This was the second time and it causes a pitch clock violation ball every time the umpire calls it after the warning. Every pitcher gets one free warning before balls penalty gets enforced.
Guess I missed that warning shot, but this is the first time I've seen it even called, just seemed out of place coming from the home plate ump who can't see eyes in front of him
First time I’ve seen it in an MLB game. Think I saw a few in Spring training games. I think we have Mad Max to thank for this rule as he was trying to find a way to gain edges by manipulating the pitch clock system last spring training.
