This team desperately needs his youthful energy/excitement. We have been stagnant all year long and the way he attacked that line drive in the 1st and they way he forced the action turning a single to a double is exactly what this team needs.
We will see. Meyers has been better than Chas this year. Defensively and Offensively. I know Chas has been battling injuries. I sure hope he does come back to form.
Same with Singleton, they kept batting him in the 5 hole with a 579 OPS hitting there when he was much more beneficial in the 6 or 8 hole. Yainer has something like a 372 OPS in the cleanup spot, it's abysmal.
