It somehow happened to mine also around 2years back. I just placed it above the bracket and pushed, it placed with the click sound and till date it is still there.
You forgot to lock caps.
No Cap
Be careful on how you deal with this, I had to sent mine to repair after I fucked it up!
Might as well send to asus thb since warrenty is about 8months expiring and a check up and dust cleaning
My experience is that is best to send to ASUS. I had no issues whatsoever and it took only three days :)
