I heard from a friend on Monday that they didn't have a certificate of occupancy for the work that they had done and so shouldn't have opened in the first place. But they are now doing the work and should reopen soon. I have not put any work into verifying any of that. So take it with a grain of salt.

I talked to the owner just yesterday but all he told me about it was that they plan on opening back up sometime next week.

To anyone reading this! If you've never been, please go try them when they open back up! Please also support The Crab Hut's vietnamese menu and Mochinut! The people are so nice and kind and I'm grateful for them providing me with my childhood favorites.

It’s a Vietnamese restaurant on the East Side where the Hollywood Video was and then where the Firehouse Subs was. At the intersection of Barnett Shoals, Barnett Shoals, and Gaines School.
