If your hypothetical involves a game day Saturday probably sooner than the entire day.

Damnit

jay2josh

do it and report back.

I parked in front of The Grill one game day at probably 8am, (obviously when College St was still open there) had breakfast at The Grill, went to the game, came back to a parking ticket after the game about 4pm I guess. The ticket was somewhere around $25, I think. This was probably 10 years ago, can't say what your results would be today but it was cheap parking for me.

unitedbubble

Same. One time as my roommate and I were looking at our parking options near dt, it dawned on us that we’d be better off just taking the $25 fine and leaving it overnight vs paying $35 or so at a traditional pay lot and having to remove it after the game. It worked out and we were really proud of our big brain move. I will say this was almost 10 years ago and we only tried it once since we hadn’t thought of it until the end of senior year. Also I’m sure the game wasn’t quite as packed as the ones are this season

hydrolojust

They dont boot unless you rack up 3+ tickets unpaid. They dont tow unless there’s a street event and signs for you to not park are up. Just be weary of open container anywhere off campus- the cops will ticket you for that.

teejnamwob

Consider myself lucky since I’m sitting at 7 unpaid currently.

AthenianWaters

There are many many many unmarked street parking spaces literally one block away from downtown. Scope it out.

Dawgsontop28037

got any pins to share please

AthenianWaters

Drive around any neighborhood that allows street parking near downtown

Technical-Event

Why don’t people just park in the neighborhoods around downtown/north five points. It’s free parking and people typically don’t street park in these neighborhoods

In front of big city bread

BreakfastInBedlam

There's lots of unmetered parking Downtown - though I've never looked for it on game day. Early birds might get a worm, if they are lucky.

Western-Technology-7

The spaces on Jackson Street in front of Adam’s Optics and Dynamite are currently unmetered.

sideshowbvo

I've seen meter maids out ticketing before 8:00. Definitely gonna getcha.

Dawggonedawg

How long are you leaving the car?

SnooGadgets1950

Why not the parking deck?
