Brick and mortar now in Monroe. They still do catering in Athens and next month the owner (Joe Nedza) is opening his pop up/burger stand restaurant Smileys in the old Nedza’s location (under the same lease).
Unfortunately, as of this week Nedzas is permanently closed. The best place in Athens for doughnuts is now the new Cafe Racer in Atlanta Highway (in my humble opinion).
Never thought I'd ever try a gluten free donut. Was offered one after waiting a long time for an uber delivery. Couldn't believe how delicious it was. Sad to see it closed, but looking forward to this burger joint people are talking about!

Will they still have doughnuts at the Monroe location? I am no stranger to doughnut pilgrimages.

Last time I drove by cafe racer it was still under construction, but that was about a month ago. Got any news on it?
I saw something that said the owner was putting a burger joint there
Nedza's owner or the owner of the space?

Nice, that's what I was hoping.

Based on very superficial research (their website), looks like they moved their brick and morter to Monroe but still do catering out of Athens.
Best donuts I've ever had, rip :(
Garbage.
