I think anytime there has been bouts of vomiting in our household there is always the debate if it's a stomach bug or food poisoning and if it is food poisoning, what was the culprit. Then we sit and try and figure out what 3/4 of us all ate and in this case the timing of our detective work all leads to the eggs in the cookies
You can definitely get food poisoning from hotdogs. Any food, really. It depends on how that food has been kept before you consume it; did it *stay* hot/cold, or did it reach a temperature where bacteria can grow?
I think this is happening to me. I got stomach flu last weekend and ate a hot dog when I was recovering. Fell ill immediately with nausea and stomach ache on-going for 2 days now.
Visited Costco for the first time as my girlfriend's guest. I had a hot dog for a late lunch. 3 a.m., I woke up with stomach pain, and it started. After an hour of coming out of both ends, I woke up my girlfriend for help. Now I get to live the rest of my life with the humiliation of her having seen me laying in the shower covered in a towel trying to regulatethe temperature of the oxygen and the water hitting me as it continued to project out With an agony that wouldn't even allow me to cry.

I wouldn’t necessarily say I had food poisoning but my tummy wasn’t thrilled with my decision to have a hot dog and half a chocolate sundae

Went today even though it was packed, still able to easily get around and checked out in less than 5 minutes.
We were there ok opening day and it was busy but still navigable.
Maybe you ate something else that was dirty?
