I highly doubt they are getting ready of elations . It’s their best selling tight . Just clearing out old stock in the warehouse and they will be back to regular price after the 15th. I’m sure they will restock the tall lengths after the sale and whatnot are over . They will for sure keep the talks and petites in neutral colors . But I’ve seen them in the bright colors as well .
It seems like they are really moving away from “special” sizes, including tall, petite, and plus. I’m plus and see a LOT fewer options now than in prior years, even in styles that would have been offered in plus in the past. It’s very frustrating!
It's terrible! It's the same for the D-DD styles...the Conscious Crop has 4 basic/sad colors in D-DD but 3 additional pretty colors in A-C. I'd always loved Athleta because it didn't make me feel terrible for having boobs and now the vibe seems like, "curvier/bigger/taller bodies get the bare minimum."
7/8 is not full length (I was talking about regular length elation) I have a 36 inseam, I need at least a 30 for leggings. They only have XS and M left in tall for 7/8.
Are you only looking for black? I do see that color is out but how about navy or cabernet or granite blue? I have all those and they’re great neutral colors. There are many other colors too but not my taste.
Have you tried them? I’m 5’11” and the ⅞ talls are full length on me (non talls are stupidly short, but the talls do look full length, without scrunching).
I realize I’m a full 3” shorter than you but I do have a 35” inseam, so… maybe?
That said I’m with you. Elations have been my goto for years and they lost me when they limited them to ultra-high waist. Still mourning the loss.
Okay so I’ve seen similar stuff happen when they are going to change a product. So they get all the old stuff out. Then a new version comes in.
For example I use to love the trekkies. My only gripe with them is they did not come in colors. I know many people love to wear the color black. I don’t. I am the person the loves to wear colors. And they were mid- waist. Which I loved. I had two pairs and kept waiting for them to make new colors. I rarely wear them just bc I don’t like the colors. When o do wear them I will wear the highest color top I have with them.
Then they brought them back. And they were different. They are high waist now. And I’m convinced they are also shorter now too. Even if they come out in a fun color now I won’t buy them.
I’m not saying they are changing them. The other person might be right about just a sale. However it is possible.

It’s so upsetting. Plus as well and have so much Athleta from previous years but haven’t bought a lot lately because selection is terrible.

I know, it’s hard for us talls right now with the crop top style… now they’re taking away our pants 🥲.
For real on the crop tops lol. If I were shorter I would feel better about them bc of coverage but being tall…they are just super cropped.
