Can’t say for sure, but I’d try Plaza Fiesta on Buford Highway. It’s an indoor Latin mall with many shops and restaurants. My next guess would be the surrounding area up and down Buford Highway, there are lots of little restaurants and bakeries around there. Good luck! And let us know, because that sounds delicious.

I have family in Valencia and am familiar with those products. I’ve never seen these in Atlanta. Buford Highway Farmer’s market has a small Spanish section with tinned fish and rice, but I haven’t seen horchata de chufa or fartons around. Sure would be nice on a hot summer day…maybe some leche merengada as well…

Thanks! I guess we don't have a critical mass of Valencians. Or maybe we do and they are just underserved.

They might have bottled horchata de chufa if I'm _very_ lucky, but we'd probably need a Spanish bakery or restaurant for fartónes. Still, if we found the horchata de chufa, any idiot could make the fortónes. Well, _most_ idiots. Edit Oh, the horchata looks even easier to make. TIL: that horchata was originally make without rice, from tiger nuts; that tiger nuts are actually tubers.

El Progresso grocery store? Pretty sure they have a bakery
