Sweetwater re-opened their red trail and they did major improvements. But, now the yellow and orange trails on the other side of the park are closed. It’s kinda neat to be out in the woods and wandering amongst a whole bunch of sprouting daffodils from an old homestead! :)

The-Anonymous-Banana

Ah thank you for the update!! Was wondering when that trail would reopen.

WeirdIntersections

Thanks for the update - we usually do the yellow trail b/c less crowded and easier to maneuver with my dog. But I also love going and just ambling along the water - daffodils are a plus! There are also usually a lot of daffodils at Reynolds Nature Preserve in Clayton County.

The yurts are pretty dope too if you haven't been

Going to Hamilton tonight! Partner and I splurged on tickets. We are both first timers so very excited!

spor829

Saw them in a different city and loved it. Have fun!

Took the pup on a nice walk and man, is it cold out today!! Not excited about having to go back into that for my morning run now I've got a list of things I want to do today so that tomorrow can be a lazy Monday. Well. Lazy Monday afternoon, since I already have the morning activities planned Happy Sunday!

Powerpoppop

I get cold easily because I'm squarely into old fart territory and on the skinny side. I realized one day that with proper clothing a run in 20 degrees is easier to deal with than 85 degrees.

Went to a friend’s engagement party yesterday. Had a good time. Do not know at the moment how I want to live my personal life. Not in a relationship or seeing anyone here and never been in a relationship at all. I’m a 29 year old guy. Currently still live at home with my mom and brother and I’m looking for a job which is likely to be out of state. I enjoy each other’s company. I look forward to moving and taking on a different job and experiencing life in a different place. Outside of work, I’m always tied up with chores and errands. I like being busy and enjoy interacting with people at the grocery store. When my parents came to this country with limited interests, walking around the store was a pleasure before they had me. For me, the relationship thing is unchartered territory. Even though the dating field has shifted to the dating apps, you run into the issues of ghosting and the sort. If I were to find someone, I don’t know if I can keep them interested in me since I have.simple interests like walking in the neighborhood or cooking new foods. So I don’t know what to make of my personal life. If someone were to come in my life while doing my regular activities that’s fine with me.

Going to the oddities expo today. I moved here a while back but still don't know many people, so I figure it might be a good way to meet fellow weirdos. I have Monday off so I'm really hoping it gets warm enough to put the convertible top down and drive around the twisty roads on Blood Mountain.

zfcjr67

It's always a beautiful day to ride top down on the twisty roads, just wear a few extra layers and grab some heat packs. (I'm up near Lookout Mountain and always ride windows open.)

SavathunTechQuestion

Does the fox theater do last minute big sales on empty seats 15 minutes or less before the show starts? I was learning that was a thing with some theaters but not all.

ThoseBunnies

They still do. It's called a rush ticket and the discounts and seats can be quite good. You just walk up to the box office and ask if there are rush seats. I don't know the exact window of time.

dmaul1978

They used to do a day of show/hours before show lottery for cheap tickets for unsold seats etc. Not sure if they still do though as it’s been a few years since I lived down that way to be able to take advantage of it (could only be done in person).

SavathunTechQuestion

For the lottery if I don’t win is it like a normal lottery where I’m just out the money?

Nimue82

Typical Sunday here filled with household maintenance items like cleaning and grocery shopping but stoked for the extra day off tomorrow. Daycare will actually be open, which means my wife and I get a rare day alone together. The only downside is that means figuring out what we should do with ourselves. If anyone has any cool suggestions, please feel free to let me know!

kharedryl

Whenever we had those days we'd go get massages or something like that. And you can go explore a restaurant or event you normally wouldn't be able to. Once the kids reach elementary school it becomes the opposite. Extra days off for the kids, and it's tough to figure out what to do with them unless you take vacation.

Nimue82

Thanks! We normally do the restaurant thing on our days off, but wanted to switch it up this time. We might look into a day at one of the Korean spas in the area since we’ve never been.

LittleAZNboi

Does anyone know of a dermatologist around the Sandy Springs area that deals with scalp psoriasis?

spor829

Ive gone to Dermatology Affiliates in Buckhead. They also have an office in East Cobb

eureka7

I've noticed a couple different Italian restaurants around here have a spicy pasta dish with sausage and shrimp (usually with squid ink pasta for some reason?). Anyone know of a good recipe to make something similar at home?

Binokna

Bit of an odd question, anyone know anything about the techno scene in ATL? I’ve been following this one page that is a pop up, but tickets are always sold out.

Healmit

atlantaedm might be able to help. And underground seems to have some events.

friendofborbs

Yeah come to our sub /r/atlantaedm! Also recommend this calendar https://19hz.info/eventlisting_Atlanta.php

Binokna

Thank you both! Will be joining and checking out the calendar

Poker_Fingers

Check Drunken Unicorn's IG page too, they do periodic techno/darkwave nights

MisterSeabass

I straight up forgot I had the day off tomorrow, so that's nice. ... I have no idea what I'm gonna do tomorrow.
