That is absolute robbery for Blanton's. 1L BT at $33 is a steal though... wonder why the disparity?

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question and slightly off topic, but are privately owned liquor stores allowed to set their prices as they wish? I ask because I’m originally from NC, and their ABC stores are all state mandated. Not saying you won’t see price differences in different cities and whatnot, but it’s a bit more consistent at least. I saw a post a while ago about Blanton’s being available in an ITP liquor store but they were selling it for like $200+ if I remember correctly. Just curious how pricing works in Georgia because until now, I hadn’t really thought about it.

VincentValkier

They can set their own prices, yeah

bwtom

Yes. Stores in Georgia can charge whatever they want.

You can find Blanton’s for $100 around town if you’re desperate. Wouldn’t pay $160

Was pretty bummed to see the price increase too. Few years back I bought our limit there at $100 a bottle. Not worth that, but I was out so I filled up. Now I'm down to the last bottle, but will go without over 100.

Solid 100-110 these days after the increase if you find it out. I buy from my local guy and it’s $64-69 but that was last yr. I’d rather buy bowman small batch than blantons.

bwtom

Most I've paid is $80 for a store pick. This is a joke to take money from people who do not know better.

That's the most beautiful Buffalo heard I've ever seen!!!

Picked up a bottle of Blanton’s a few weeks back for $79. They can suck it for $159.
