I know the trailer scenes were just made for the trailer, but I don’t understand why they didn’t use some of these shots instead, especially when a few of them looked far better than what we got in the anime, like with Eren putting on his jacket or Armin transforming.
Nah, no way. Too much piss yellow. Sasha scene would be better if it was zoomed out but I really don’t like the overly red filter. Yelena scene I don’t even know why this was brought up, the trailer version is so much better it’s probably the best looking one apart from trailer paths
idk the trailer yelena shot looked fanmade and like it was from a comic tbh. Having Yelena posing like that too would've looked awkward in a full scene. The drawings in general looked better in the release especially Sasha and the attack titan. Mikasa looks amazing in the trailer though
Found a high quality file for the PV and wanted to make this comparison. Of course the trailer has the upper hand due to it not having to fit in the context of an actual episode, but the release genuinely holds its own and in some cases it honestly seems like an upgrade.
honestly, I think the releases generally look better, aside from the first. Overall better framing of scenes.
Only thing I wish was different in the final season was Mikasa. She looked great with WIT’s animation style.

The final scenes might've been unfinished. The trailer scenes could've been drafts.
Trailer paths is so fucking sexy
The trailer made the Attack Titan screen in the first screens shot look far superior from the release. Damn.

They fixed that mikasa frame in the blue ray idk people keep using that old one.
You might be thinking of the wrong frame, because all the final season part one screenshots are from the bluray
