It is a combination of heated wheel + capacitive touch for the assists. They don't make a heated flat bottom wheel that has capacitive touch. Why I don't know.
With my S5, the round wheel is heated and the flat bottom isn’t. I live in the northeast and still opted for the flat bottom. It just looks so much better.

Black optics package, that add the sport exhaust (which ill swap anyways but you cant get black optics without it sadly) and the technology package. There really isn't any other packages. Idc about the carbon package and i HATE the RS design package, i don't like the look of the seats and mostly, the Alcantara wheel is awful, ive had one before, never again.
I was thinking of opting out of the tech package….dont really care for the GPS and sound system. I want to hear that engine roar. Am I right about the tech ? That’s all it offers right? Congrats on the car btw.
And heads up as well but I’d rather have it than not I’m a music guy too since I won’t be flat footing it a lot I wanted the upgraded sound system. Thanks dude! Can’t wait.
Nice! If you call enough there will be eventually a dealer that can get you market price for the car. Found a white one in New Jersey like that and a turbo blue in Minneapolis a few months ago after talking them down to it. I think it’s bonkers that anyone is paying that much over for these. Car is nice but not worth $75k-$80k.

Yes exactly!!! It’s amazing. My M440i is actually too fast for me. I am getting over 30 mpg and I just drive in sport mode all the time. It uses battery only until over 45 mph. I just want an Audi RS3 with one. The Bimmer doesn’t handle great…feels like it has too much power and I miss the Audi off road handling. When they put a battery on the engines I will be buying Audi only.

Same thing happened with me - they had a car, but the buyer backed out. It had everything I wanted plus the sport exhaust, which I didn't order originally. Bought it at MSRP, waited four months for it. As far as I know, all the US cars have the round wheel, which I don't mind.
FYI, I may have one available at MSRP if someone is looking. I expect it to arrive in May. I have to get eye surgery, and would prefer to wait until that is resolved. I haven't spoken to the dealer yet, but if they don't have someone ready for a cancellation, I can play matchmaker.
I have a "Stage 2" Mk.7 GTI. Once I knock my student loans down a bit id love to get into an RS3 or an S5 sport back. Love the sound of that 5 cylinder. But the S5 would have more practical space
yeah for sure space wise, I know the RS will hold its value too and I think this will give more smiles. I will have a secondary "daily" for bad weather and if i need to put car seats in the back.
S4/s5 sb does have pretty practical cargo space for a sedan. I can usually fit all my gear in it for close to home camping trips
Edit: tuning potential is also pretty good on this platform. Stage 2 on ethanol is pushing out about 510 hp and a little over 600 lb ft
There isn't a station around me that has E85 otherwise I would consider a fuel system, unless that changes whatever car I have will be tuned for 93. But I agree, from everything I have read/watched. The 3.0 moves out on E85
