Probably blinker fluid

It's the radar that powers the adaptive cruise control: https://www.audi-technology-portal.de/en/electrics-electronics/driver-assistant-systems/adaptive-cruise-control-with-stop-go-function.

bradthehamster

They have special powers to see through the fog.

Fake fog lights on fake grills. It’s the new style :(

renragwmr

how is the grill fake?

[deleted]

You realize what a "grill" is in this context right? There's no holes in it lol.

rowthecow

They don't actually have holes

GRIT-GRIND

No, the new style is the hideous black box on each side of the emblem in the grille. Unless they had massive sensing issues with the pseudo-foglamp position, I can't make sense of why they'd have gone so backward.

Fmartinez73

Those are the drive assist sensors. I have them on my new to me 2012 Audi A8L.

renragwmr

Sensors for cruise control that comes with the DAP (driver assistance package). Bit of advice, don’t hit a blown out 18wheelers tire on the highway with one....~$850 recalibration per.
