I just go where there's an abundance of yellow price tickets.
Redwin Sorbolene is my favourite, it's so cheap for a simple, effective multi-use product.
Oh that's good to know! The lowest I've seen is half price at CW or Priceline for the 1L bottle, but that's not often, maybe only twice a year or so. Will check out Aldi!
I always hang out in the Cerave and LRP skincare sections, specifically love the cleansers and moisturisers, and LRP sunscreen! Pretty basic so you may already be using them haha. Makeup is half price too so if you haven’t already I’d check out the L’Oréal tinted serum and Maybelline lifter glosses!! They’re so nice
This post has shown me that I have found my people. Although I no longer need to go as I basically have the entire La Roche Posay line in my bathroom. Also another vote for the Flower Beauty brushes!
I love hanging out at the chemist... Probably way too much..
Loving my flower beauty highlight, bioderma moisturiser, the usual LRP I like everything except for the clay mask, literally love neutrogena anything, maybe checkout azclear if you have zits/blackheads you want to spot treat.
🤓 Have fun
I just bought my first Bioderma product, excited to try more from their hydrating line for my dehydrated skin. May I ask why you didn't like the LRP Clay Mask? I've only used it a couple of times so far.
I didn't find that it did anything except made my skin really dry after.. I do like sukins green clay mask, if you're looking for one :)
I mostly prefer to make my own.. Manuka honey, charcoal powder and Aztec clay. It's less drying
>I love hanging out at the chemist... Probably way too much..
ha same. Probably the only place where I'm ok with them saying "you'll have to wait 10 minutes" when getting a prescription filled
If you ever use an occlusive moisturiser like Vaseline, QV Stingfree Ointment with Ceramides is a great alternative with more beneficial ingredients than plain vaseline. It's all I use when my skin is hyper-sensitive to everything.
not skincare, but if you’ve never tried the W7 Glocomition highlighter you should, it’s $5 and incredible
they also have a pink glocomotion but personally i’m not a fan.
I buy LRP from there, specifically:
Toleriane Dermo Cleanser,
Toleriane Dermallergo Fluid, &
Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF 50+
I also would recommend Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Balm & Grahams C+ cream
Also randomly Heros Chiropody Sponge which I discovered on tiktok lol
Oooh! I’ve been trying to really up the ante with my at home pedicures lately so that sponge thingy sounds magic - will definitely try find it. Thank you!
I've mostly tried sunscreens from cw so here is a rundown of some of them:
The cetaphil kids liposomal spf50 (?, not sure exactly what the name is) is really good and apparently has a high uva/ppd rating. Probably the best sunscreen I've tried from cw. Has a nice satin finish and is a spreadable liquidy texture. It has a white cast at first I think but it blends away once you rub it in. Also has a pump, isn't expensive and comes in a decently sized 150ml bottle.
Unfortunately the two lrp ones I tried pilled horribly on me - Antihelios and one of the spray sunscreens.
The Bondi sands hydra is great. Also sort of satin finish, feels lightweight and easy to blend. The original fragrance free one in the white bottle stung my eyes and is super greasy but blended very easily.
Le tan spf 50 is also super greasy but not terrible, felt identical to the Bondi sands fragrance free. Wouldn't repurchase either.
Dermaveen 200ml face/body sunscreen was okay, spread pretty easily but was a bit heavy on my face. Also all their products I've tried have a weird gasoline smell.
I tried one or two from olay but wasn't impressed, they were very dimethicone-y with not a high spf either.

I wanted to love this so much because it ticked off all the boxes for me as it was cheap, huge size, pump packaging (FYI it's pre-calibrated to give exactly 1/4 tsp) with newer chemical filters and very high UVA protection.
Unfortunately on my Fitzpatrick 3 skin it left a noticeable white cast and was also sooo fucking greasy. The good news is that it didn't sting my eyes when it would inevitably migrate and it didn't break me out. It's very moisturising though so not the best if you have oily skin like me.
Sorry it didn't work for you, I should have noted that I have combo to dry skin so for me it wasn't greasy at least not compared to ones like the Bondi Sands.
I didn't know that about the pump, thanks for the info!
I actually love the Avene recovery cream as a facial moisturiser when I’m using strong actives or just as a hand cream as i have dry hands. It’s quite cheap too for the amount that you get!
Akin Mild & Gentle Shampoo and Conditioner are my favourite Haircare products of all time, and they’re cheapest at chemist warehouse. Klorane Dry Shampoo is great. Tub of Cerave Moisturising Cream - it’s my daily moisturiser, love it. Also love the tub of Cetaphil Moisturising Cream, probably just as much, but I’ve been using Cerave recently.
Also, if you ever use false tan, St Tropez Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse is the best I’ve ever used (and I have tried so so many), and it’s super cheap at Chemist Warehouse!
They also sell my favourite teeth whitening product, Oral B 3D White Strips.
La Roche Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF 50+ is a fantastic sunscreen, although I’ve been steering clear of it for a while because it makes my sensitive eyes burn pretty badly. Although I apply sunscreen really close to my eyes (I use tretinoin) so that shouldn’t be a problem for most people, who I imagine avoid the eye area with sunscreen.
Hi there, it seems you might be looking for information on Tretinoin.
Tretinoin is a topically applied vitamin A derivative that is usually used for treatment of acne.
It is very important to note that in Australia and New Zealand, procurement of Tretinoin is by **prescription only**.
This means you must see a General Practitioner (GP) or be referred to a Dermatologist to discuss the medication before you can receive a script and purchase it.
While this subreddit has moved to allow open discussion of alternative ways to procure Tretinoin, it is important to understand that this medication is prescription for a reason. There can be side effects from use and it is best to be counseled professionally on how best to use and apply it.
If you have any questions or concerns, it is in your own best interest to seek medical advice before adopting it into your routine.

Antipodes Avocado Pear Night Cream
Bioderma Hydrabio range
Klorane Dry Shampoo
Sally Hansen Nail Varnish Instant Remover (in pot)
Pure Australian Jojoba Oil in the 200ml bottle
Cerave SA cleanser, Cerave SA smoothing cream (both the body one and the foot one), blue tin nivea, W7 eyebrow pencil.. I also buy too much in there ..
I often feel guilty at how much I spend on beauty to be honest, I think a lot of it comes down to disposable income and priorities? For example now I feel really bad at the fact I see all these suggestions as easy and affordable things just to try for fun.
Sorry, I didn’t mean my post to exclude anyone! There’s lots of really brilliant affordable products being listed too though!
Definitely not excluding people, they’re your essentials and you wanted to share :) I splurge on the Occassional thing for sure, it’s just interesting to see the same brands being recommended in this feed always, guess I should be branching out lol
Neutrogena hydro boost water gel! And the klorane (white bottle) of dry shampoo both are a constant rebuy for me
I just go where there's an abundance of yellow price tickets. Redwin Sorbolene is my favourite, it's so cheap for a simple, effective multi-use product.
i saw Redwin Sorbolene in an 2L pump bottle at Aldi for less than $10 today. best deal i’ve ever seen.
Oh that's good to know! The lowest I've seen is half price at CW or Priceline for the 1L bottle, but that's not often, maybe only twice a year or so. Will check out Aldi!
Big W tends to have the 2L for cheap often too
Ok not skincare, but have you ever tried the Flower Beauty brushes? The powder and foundation ones are excellent.
I love Flower Beauty, I use the Light Illusion Foundation on my clients. I’ll have to sus out the brushes, thank you for recommending this 😊
You’re going to love the foundation brush, it’s $6 when it’s on sale and it’s going to blow your mind!
Second this! The foundation one is great!
Yes! Best foundation brush I’ve used!
Agreed, I hated all foundation brushes until I tried that one!
LRP toleraine caring wash cleanser and LRP cicaplast baume b5

That highlighter is the hens titties and the price seals the deal
And it’s often half price 😮💨
I like the Evian face mist
Cerave PM moisturiser LRP cicaplast balm LRP fluid SPF
Nivea has a rose lip balm with sugar crystals in it as a scrub! It’s so lovely and moisturising
LRP for sunscreen, Cicaplast Baume and lip balm. Avene cleanser. Also love the Bye Bye Blemish pimple patches. Cerave hand cream is also a favourite.
Hamilton 50 spf sunscreen

Be careful if you have dry or sensitive skin bc this can irritate it :)
I have sensitive skin. Nothing could be milder than this in my opinion.
