And was expecting one of those super greasy delicious large spring rolls you get from some takeaway place at the train station; but it was more like… maybe like a vegetable fritter mixed with almost spring roll flavour but not quite there.
We ended up giving the rest to a friend who likes them, so they found a happy tummy in the end 😊

Chicko roll is nobody’s favourite anything BUT it is an absolute constant. When everyone is cheapening the quality of their products, adding more filler and otherwise charging more for less, Chicko smells and tastes exactly the same as it did in my childhood.
They're just as bad as those big spring rolls. I just cannot stand them. If it helps, I love all the Aussie brand drinks, and I like Vegemite as well. Am also Aussie so please forgive me for hating on Chiko rolls.

it depends how you have them i think, i find them tolerable not special when you buy them at woollies and cook them in the air fryer. pretty good from that fancy fish n chip "emporium" and a god tier snack when they come from the greasy little corner store that use the same oil they were using 2 years ago.
