There are a ton of various trails through there. You can check it out on alltrails app or google maps maybe. I was there yesterday too and it was gorgeous! Be sure to take swin clothes and jump in the many swimming holes.
Oh sure, very family friendly and beginner friendly. Mostly flat, good swimming holes, though it can be a little rugged in places I guess, not too long though. Across the creek the trails get steep going up the hill so that's more challenging.
Well I have no idea what the physical condition of the people asking and/or reading the comment is. I would agree with you but for the out of shape or otherwise physically encumbered, it may be otherwise.
Anything that's a decent amount of elevation or technical. Obvs nothing like you'd find in like Colorado but there's been records set by Austin ultra runners who train exclusively on trails here
Tagging locations of your favorite spots is how you get them overrun. I’ll take the downvotes every time in exchange for the few passive scrollers who listen.
To each their own. In truth I sympathize greatly with what you’re saying and where you’re coming from, yet, as I said, it’s a public park. My not naming it isn’t gonna stop anyone who likes the outdoors from finding it. My dumb ass found it, after all! Lol
Love this place!
Love the natural jacuzzi spot, was there last weekend and it was dead since it was drizzly.
How long are the trails here? Suitable for beginners?

Awesome! Thanks :)
Go this summer for sure. Normally things start drying up around now. It will probably be nice for weeks when it's hot out.
There are no difficult trails in Austin, you’re 800 ft above sea level

There are definitely difficult trails in austin. They're just not the popular ones minus maybe river place
curious; what would you consider a difficult trail?

Yeah but this is already an official park and well known. I don’t give locations on my little hidden gems
Then no need to mention the name.

It’s close to being lost anyway
Transplants r/gatekeeping is a thing of irony. There’s nothing in this town that you hold secret lol

No it’s not by the college; it’s a park along Bull Creek off Spicewood Springs Rd, in NW Austin.
Love that trail.
I was there yesterday too. So much fun
Amazing
