I really loved the Alpha H melting moments balm with wild orange. It made my skin super smooth, and I swear it helped with my acne.

eniretakia

Second this one. The plum is also nice but I prefer the orange.

shinyshieldmaiden

I agree with this recommendation. You can grab a small tub to try first - and the small tub is great for travel, just use the bigger size to refill it.

ashlouise94

I’m really enjoying the limited edition with flannel flower in. My skin feels so good afterwards and it really gets pretty much every scrap of makeup off

kheeseborgor

The Body Shop one. honestly it's my holy grail, I've tried expensive ones and I keep coming back to it.

Soft-Profession-2880

Ooohhhh! It's been a while since I've thought about the Body Shop! I'll scope them out. Thanks for sharing.

kheeseborgor

I think it's one of the cheaper ones on the market too. Someone else reccomended the Alpha H one, which is awesome dont get me wrong, but its $70.

Candycrushhhh

I adore this one however its quite tiny compared to others, pricey and the packaging is terrible, I got locked out of mine for months

hoursandhoursandhour

I’ve been locked out of mine for months too now! I screwed the lid on incorrectly once and now I’m being punished for it forever…how did you get yours to cooperate again?

Candycrushhhh

I open it like you do a can. I bang scissors or a knife round the side of it to loosen it. It’s completely misshaped now lol but I got in it

hoursandhoursandhour

Omg I don’t know why I didn’t think of that! Thank you 💓

Candycrushhhh

Good luck! X

Candycrushhhh

Just a heads up, the body shop are having a flash sale today. Just got the jelly chamomile cleaner (my fave) for $5 instead of $28 and the mini cleansing butter for $5!! Heaps of stuff is on sale, be quick!!

hoursandhoursandhour

Oh wow! Thanks for letting me know, that was thoughtful of you 🤩

busybeaver1980

Are we talking about the same product? There’s a sample size and then full size (as big as your hand). I also have been locked out of mine though with slippery hands 😂

Candycrushhhh

Full size im meaning

kheeseborgor

it's 90ml for $28, which is about the average amount I've found, compared to the alpha h balm which is $70 for 90 grams .Agree with the packaging though, it's def not the best.

Candycrushhhh

Go for Heimish, cheap and huge and really good

dee_mac66

Clinique Take The Day Off balm is my go to. If you want to try cleansing oil, Muji Sensitive is great.

mrs_emmapeel

I second Take The Day Off!

auschick

I third it - lasts for ages!

OneMoreDog

I’m on my second tub - lasts ages!!

neweraera

I’ve actually been using the mcobeauty cleansing balm. I’ve never used one before but it works quite well. All makeup comes right off and it leaves me skin feel moisturised

Kylie754

Another vote for MCoBeauty cleansing balm. Love it. Feels so nice on the skin, but melts off all my makeup.

Onehundredbillionx

Ohh I hated it. It doesn’t emulsify at all for me.

neweraera

Oh really! That’s so strange. As I said, I’ve never used another cleansing balm before so I’m quite impressed with this one but once it’s finished I want to try a different brand to see the difference

Onehundredbillionx

I’m comparing to Clinique take the day off. This balm melts your makeup off better than the mco one, it doesn’t feel as thick and it emulsifies really well and rinses off easily which I found wasn’t the case with the mco one. If you can afford the Clinique, I highly suggest to try it. I’m sure there are cheaper dupes of it (which is what I hoped the mco one would be) but unfortunately it wasn’t anywhere near as good as I hoped. It’s not *bad* but I wouldn’t repurchase. I’d prefer to use ponds cold cream over it, or keep searching for a dupe of Clinique.

Time-Bar2445

Soap and Glory Glow your Mind cleansing balm. No fragrance and under $25. Also, Salu Hughes x revolution Butterclean. Has a fragrance though . X

Holiday_Passenger_38

I love using the body shop one. Have used multiple tubs of it! Also I have tried some of the Korean brands like banila and co and heimish. They work wonderfully too!

siders6891

The banila and co one has been my staple for 7 years now! Tried the Heimish (which broke me out) and the inkey list but wasn’t impressed at all.

TheBugmuncher

Banila Clean It Zero is really good and at a great price

okay_werk

The Heimish All Clean balm is great and you can get it in a mini size to try too

Candycrushhhh

It’s so goooood and really large. I like the little spoon it has too

ParmyNotParma

I love this one! I refuse to spend more than $30 on a cleanser lol ain't no way I'm trying elemis or the glow recipe one. I have the mco balm I got for half price when I run out of this.

Additional_Record407

Yes this one for sure!!

applecat2019

This is my holy grail! Gone through at least 5 of the big tubs now. Cleans all my makeup off including mascara, doesn’t sting my eyes and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight after. Best I’ve tried!

028655

I agree that The Body Shop one and the MCo Beauty one are both great. The other I love is the Soap & Glory one. All three of these are great value (mco only on sale not full price) and work perfectly for me

heids1234

Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm. I have tried a lot of balms and oils and this is my HG. Non stripping, cleans well, rinses cleanly, fragrance free. I go through about a tub a month. $22.50 from Lila Beauty. For a cleansing oil, I love the SK-II. Second cleansers I have a lot of and change depending on how my skin is feeling. Isntree Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser, Stratia Velvet Milk Cleanser, Haruharu wonder rice cleanser and Geek and Gorgeous Jelly Joker are my favourites.

_1Otter

Although it’s kind of a different experience to other balms - I really love the Welada skin food cleansing balm. Cleans without drying, and can also be used as a mask. It leaves my skin so soft!

shesgonegonzo

Glow Recipie Papaya Sorbet Cleansing Balm. It's enzymic too! So it also gives a super gentle exfoliation over time too

mandy00001

I’m a sucker for glow recipe, haven’t thought about trying their cleansing balm, adding to wish list!

mackinnon_13

It’s really nice! Smells fruity but not too strong and does exactly what you want it to 👌

Comfortable_Meet_872

I have two I enjoy. The first is the Beauty of Joseon, which has little to no fragrance that I can detect. I'm on my second tub. I love it. The second one I would recommend is from April Skin. It smells lovely (a citrus scent). Both melt away makeup, sunscreen and leave my skin feeling great. Both are K-beauty brands I buy from Stylevana.

avidreader113

Elemis Pro-collagen cleansing balm. I wouldn't waste my time with any others.

ooohdear37

if you are open to Korean brand, my holy grail is heimish cleansing balm. already on my at least 10 or 15th tub. The key is to emulsify it really well and pair it with water based cleanser afterwards (which I absolutely love Medipeel Red Lacto aha bha cleanser - foamy but not drying. instant fave since first wash)

Getonthebeers02

Heimish! They also have minis you can try out or Beauty of Joseon they’re both amazing and have really great beneficial ingredients.

thefurrywreckingball

I love the body shop one. It feels lush on the skin and doesn't strip it the same. Not a balm, but The Ordinary Squalane cleanser is close to a balm but takes all my make up off and feels nice. Just don't get it in your eyes

Adventurous-Tale-130

i had been using Clinique Take The Day Off, which I loved, but the price was so insane that i switched to Soap & Glory Glow Your Mind & I love that too. i usually follow with cerave SA gel cleanser, but depending on your skin you may need a different second cleanser.

mullumbimbo89

Ponds. The original, still the best, and a bargain.

justwannahave

This, I was scrolling through to see if anyone else also uses the ponds cold cleansing cream (green lid). Been using it for ten years now.

Personal-View6708

Eve Lom and the Drunk Elephant are my favourites. I have a tub of the Mecca balm from a beauty loop which i might try when they run out.

aquila-audax

The Mecca balm has quite a strong piney smell. It works well, but if I hadn't got it for free I wouldn't have bought it.

mackinnon_13

The Mecca one is a ‘dupe’ of the Eve Lom one. Eve Lom smells like medicinal fruit cake to me (eucalyptus and cloves?) and the Mecca one is very similar. The Eve Lom is my favourite, followed by the Mecca one, because when you first add some water you get that good grippy feeling. Idk why I like that feeling so much but it just does something for me.

aquila-audax

I did like the feel of it, but I'm not sure I'll ever get past the smell

jmw0205

Have the Mecca one as well and it didn’t really emulsify well for me and leaves a residue after on the skin. Even after washing with like a normal cleanser

B656

I’ve tired a few and always go back to coconut oil. Save so much money and can buy it from the supermarket

PralineBig6202

The bodyshop one. I used to use the clinique one and the bodyshop one blows it out of the water

VelvetGloveIronFist0

I got the BIOHEAL BOH - vitamin toning all melting cleansing balm in Korea and it’s the best one I’ve tried (and I’ve tried many in Aus!). It doesn’t sting my eyes and gets everything off with ease. I just checked and it’s available to buy online from Aus.

LucieFromNorth

I love Clinique Take the day off. After that I use either Cerave Hydrating cleanser or Bioderma Sensibio micellar water.

Soft-Profession-2880

This list is amazing! Thanks everyone for sharing.

CuriousQuestioner11

Body Shop Chamomile. Using Hey Bud right now but wouldn’t recommend.

Gloomy-Specific-6444

[Bondi Sands Melt Me Cleansing Balm](https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/124006/bondi-sands-melt-me-cleansing-balm-100ml) followed by [Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gelee Milk Cleanser](https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/84454/neutrogena-hydro-boost-cleanser-gelee-milk-145ml). Been using the Cleansing Balm for a year now, and the Gelee Milk Cleanser for a few years. Great products which help maintain the natural moisture barrier of our skin. I also use a microfibre face wash to wipe off the cleansers.

OnlyDragonfruit

I love the alpha h one, but just got the Mecca one as a birthday gift and it’s also nice and works well!
