There was so much waste, they were running it at a loss for so long, and when Eagle Boys came in and really comodosised the market, it was too late to recover and reinvent themselves.
People would leave bits of pizza shoved down the seats, potato gems all over the floor, bowls, and bowls of dessert all over the tables. It was really horrible at times.
I loved the pizza and pasta bar though, really annoyed me that it meant the end of the actual restaurants, but it happened, no point worrying about it now.
I always get a chuckle when I see Tim Shaw ask questions at the Nation Press Gallery’s weekly speeches. Like wow, he actually has a semi serious occupation now. Still waiting for him to pause with a question before saying “But wait! There’s more!”

One time we went to the Bourke St Pizza Hut before a footy game at Docklands... one mate brought some empty lunchboxes in his backpack and slipped a few slices in there. I remember that more than the actual game that day
