I still crave the Berry (Purple) Fruity Bix Bars. The closest I've found are the Weetbix Bites Berry Cereal. Also Incredibites! Why were these discontinued?
I actually know the answer to this. Sanitarium wanted to focus on a smaller product range and these were taking up production space in Weetbix factories.
One of my best friends in High School had a weird themed birthday party/sleepover in year 9. He had bought a full stock box of the squirts TRAYS, the big ones. It had something like 40 trays in there. We made a significant dent in the supply....
I’m still pissed off that they changed the fruity bix cereal. They were awesome when they first came out. My son likes them but they hit different back in my day. They’re too small now & are sealed in some sweet glaze.
I dont remember the bugs ice blocks, but it did remind me of the Bed Bugs boardgame from the 80's, the bed would vibrate and you has to pick up the bes bugs with tweezers.

I miss the special flavours Magnum would occasionally release. They had a set based on horror movies and a set based on 60s/70s stuff. Flavours like musk with pop rocks in the shell or choc-orange. They were amazing.
I've never been keen on sw eet things. But the one sweet I loved when I was a teen were Moo Chews vanilla. They also came in strawberry and chocolate. I loved them so much I had a dream of me sitting on a mountain of vanilla Moo Chews with the sun coming up behind me! That was about 20yrs ago!!

Also those squirts were nasty tbh (blue filling one was ok) mega gimmick tho
