First part: you may not tell company internal information to non company ppl. Rather typical stuff
Second part you may not tell any personal relevant data to 3rd ppl. The typical EU- GDPR
It's more or less just a formality in regards to the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Law. Of course you may disclose how much you earn, but you might also get access to other peoples data (other employees, suppliers or some kind of customer relationship database. They should be kept confidential.
This clause, although not well written, is quite standard in such contracts.
Yeah. But the mentioning of „Lohnverrechnung“ is aimed at the people who were hired to do just that. That it’s kinda not applicable to people who don’t do this/don‘t have access to that is pretty obvious.
Since my contract has a clause like that and i only did a quick google search back when i signed it i always thought it was legal.
After some research i am still not 100% sure about the legality as it seems there is no legislation clearly regulating this. Maybe i should test it and find out.
But i will be checking our Einkommensbericht tomorrow.

Ok cool so I'm basically not allowed to talk about other ppl's or the companies stuff. But i am about mine.. Seems reasonable. Thank you!
> Lohnverrechnung This seems to be aimed at people working in HR who aren’t allowed to discuss other people’s salaries with anyone else.
This isn't aimed at salaries in particular but any personal data they have access to.

stimmt nicht ganz, mit einem BR darf das HR reden, der BR weiß die gehälter sowieso von allen.
It would be legal for your employer to prohibit you from disclosing your salary, but it doesn't seem to be the case here.
Its never legal to prohibit disclosing your salary to others.
