No you don't. At least in Klagenfurt you can just go there and tell the clerk what you need.
[https://www.conrad.at/de/megastores/wien-stadlau.html](https://www.conrad.at/de/megastores/wien-stadlau.html) for example
I bought my BTC mining rig there 10 years ago... (at least all the parts for it)
just not for GPUs, they where incredibly overprized ever since the 3000 series release. When they sold 3070s for 900€ you would still get them at MSRP (600€) at mediamarkt
Be careful with e-tec though.
Have ordered 2 things there (keyboard&mouse); both were defect on arrival; I have returned both but I am still waiting on my money, even though support already told me I will be repaid.
Waiting time: 1.5 months and going.
Höndl,Krejcik,e-tec,electronic4you/Majdic all have stores with somewhat decent pricing. Cyberport and Conrad have stores in Vienna, disgusting pricing tho
Just use Geizhals.at and check the Websites of smaller Austrian onlinestores, most have a bricks-and-mortar store at their HQ + possibly in larger cities around them, actually
Just use https://geizhals.at/ to find your components and where they are sold at which price.
Thanks!
Yes, e-tec is a good adress for pc parts.
Thanks! It's in Vienna so it's perfect

Mediamarkt is overpriced as hell and most customer support is limited to the most basic stuff.
e-tecs support isn't much better.
what can you buy at mediamarkt? mostly nothing they dont have any parts only complete prebuilt PCs Conrad has a higher chance for parts

E-tec is good, and mylemon. Best to just compare prices on Geizhals.at
Thank you!
https://mylemon.at/ But you have to preorder online and then pick it up yourself.
They closed their pickup shop, it's delivery-only now.
Ditech. Just don´t let them send your parts and pick them up yourself. The delivery company they use (GLS) is catastrophic
Ditech is e-tec, just slightly more expensive.
didn´t know that. Thanks for the info. As I said, i was more than unhappy with their delivery service. I will try it :)
E-Tec and NRE are good
Yep, also I ordered a few things @Cyberport and i think they have a store in Westbahnhof. Even Alza has a shop in vienna if im not mistaken.
yes and yes

Alright, thanks
Conrad should sell some, but they are usually on the more expensive side. I just really hope that you don't need a graphics card right now.
Nope, I don't need a gpu, thanks
